CHA vs CHI Dream11: Buzz, buzz, buzz….. The NBA trade deadline is here and well, we have already seen big-time moves being pulled by different teams. Big-time names in Caris LeVert, CJ McCollum, Domantas Sabonis, and Norman Powell have been involved in this exchange of players. This is usually the case during the trade deadline and when you think about it, Norman Powell has now been traded during the midseason for two straight seasons now. This means transformations in the lineups and shifts in dynamics. Bearing that in mind, let us jump into the tussle between the Charlotte Hornets and the Chicago Bulls.
The Hornets have been struggling a lot these days, currently on a five-game losing streak and the worst part is four of them have been at home. With Gordon Hayward out, the roster balance can be further up-and-down but the team does have some incredible offensive options nonetheless. Overall, the team is still a game above the 50% win mark but needs to snap the losing streak now.
On the other hand, the Bulls have been dealing with a ton of injuries since January and they have lost around 60% of the games since the influx of the injury. However, a strong start to the season has served them well and they have 12 wins more than losses. With their three leading Point Guards gone for now, can LaVine and DeRozan pull off a heist here against a vulnerable team? Host: Charlotte Hornets Visitors: Chicago Bulls Match Timing: 10 February, @ 06:00 AM Venue: Spectrum Center
Bulls: Tough period indeed The NBA is a grueling league, you can begin on a 67-70% win record till the December period and still lose your way as you play 82 games during the season. Chicago has been hurt at the one-guard position and the big-Forward position has been compromised since initial parts because of the absence of Patrick Williams. Now with Ball and Caruso out, the bench balance has been disrupted. Now with Ayu Dosunmu ruled out for the game, probably Coby White will slide in as the starting guard.
Which means further weakening of an already struggling bench. While Vucevic has been performing his job well as the rebounder and scorer at the Center position. Of course, the team’s main driving forces have been Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan, two quality off-guards who can score in a myriad of ways. Coby White can supply some regular scoring but overall, the team has not found the bench strength. Does this mean that the Bulls will be looking to engage in the trade scenario or will they simply wait for Ball to return?
Hornets: Lean period Hornets have been struggling these days and their offense has been suffering a lot. This is a team that took pride in its offensive arsenal and with the wealth of isolation scorers, they were able to steamroll defenses. But since last week or so, their offense has taken a holiday and one of the reasons why they have been struggling is the lack of three-point efficiency and Kelly Oubre’s shooting has especially suffered in the recent period. LaMelo has been turning it over quite a bit but the pieces are not coming together in the offensive puzzle.
And it is essential for a team like the Hornets to be on the efficient side since the team doesn’t play a lot of emphasis on defense and if the defense has improved a bit, the offense has been just too terrible these days. The Hornets will be without Gordon Hayward but they were struggling with him in the lineup anyway. Still, you’d think with Ball, Rozier, Bridges, Washington Jr, and Kelly Oubre Jr., there is a lot of quality scoring and all-around offensive talent at the disposal of this team and this game is crucial for them because you don’t want to lose five in a row at your home floor if anything. Can the Hornets bounce back after a tough period? Charlotte Hornets | Chicago Bulls Games: 55| 54 Wins: 28 | 33 Defeats: 27 | 21

LaMelo Ball(CHA) Points: 15 Rebounds: 04 Assists: 09 Steals: 04 Ball has had three tough games and he has turned the ball over quite a bit but yes, he is one of the best all-around guards in the league right now. The Guard has usually been in the 17-23 points, 4-6 rebounds, and around 9 assists a game regularly. LaMelo can be chosen as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Fantasy scenario. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 37-51
DeMar DeRozan(CHI) Points: 38 Rebounds: 05 Assists: 04 Steals: 02 DeRozan is having a terrific season and his ability to score in isolation situations and his mid-range prowess make him one of the most reliable scorers. Miles Bridges(CHA) Points: 25 Rebounds: 06 Assists: 05 Steals: 03 Blocks: 02 Miles is a much-improved wing especially on the offensive end and he has been having a huge impact on the team. Zach LaVine(CHI) Points: 32 Rebounds: 06 Assists: 08 Zach is a terrific isolation scorer and forms a strong one-two punch along with Demar also developing into a substantial all-around Guard. Nikola Vucevic(CHI) Points: 13 Rebounds: 12 Assists: 00 Steals: 02 Nikola is an incredible presence in the middle for the Bulls and gets a lot done in terms of rebounding and scoring. He has scored 20+ points and has grabbed 10+ rebounds quite a bit but yes, his scoring can take a hit when LaVine plays but with Dosunmu out, he can get more touches. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 28-42
Terry Rozier(CHA) Points: 20 Rebounds: 05 Assists: 06 Rozier continues to be an incredible scoring isolation option at the two-guard position and he has been one of the mainstays at the offensive end. Terray has scored 20 or more in three of the last four games. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 28-38
