Bulls: LaVine is potentially back
If LaVine is back in the mix then the Bulls will only become more intimidating. Their depth is a thing to be reckoned with and their ability to pull off quality late-game possessions means that this team is learning to grind out games together. The Bulls can employ both fastbreak and half-court style with equal success and with two formidable isolation options in DeRozan and LaVine, the team’s balance has been blossoming. Perhaps, the Celtics duo of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum can take some lessons from this duo? Overall, the Bulls’ bench depth with Coby White is also looking strong at this point and the team has the potential to make a deep Playoffs push.

Pacers: So much talent, such little returns…
With three high-yielding isolation scorers in Duarte, LeVert, and Brogdon paired with two high-yielding frontcourt players in Turner and Sabonis, along with a decent bench, the Pacers record is certainly underwhelming. The team is not able to close out games and can get lost on both ends. Perhaps, they need more off-the-ball players? But what is their issue? Lack of physicality? Inability to read opponents? Getting outhustled? They have all-around players, they have a solid scoring core, and yet the Indiana team continues to betray the expectations.
