DAL vs GSW DREAM11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Dallas Mavericks will aim to extend their winning streak to four games when they host defending champion Golden State Warriors in an NBA match at American Airlines Center, in Dallas, Texas, on Sunday morning (IST).

Dallas Mavericks:

Call it some divine intervention or a brain fade moments of all Utah Jazz players on a certain night, but the efforts, the intensity of Dallas Mavericks should not be ignored even for once in whatever parameter you may want to jump over to judge this insane result.

Yes, it was a surreal outcome and the one which may be talked about on a fine evening by some old folks over a cup of tea that it was indeed some match when Dallas Mavericks, a team which finished at a lowly 13th in the 2017-18 regular season, thumped Phoenix Suns 118-68 at American Airlines Center; 50 points winning margin should be like winning a football game by a margin of 10 goals.

But Mavericks’ latest win, fourth in the last five, do tell us that this franchise is looking up once again. The legendary Dirk Nowitzki may still be associated with the team as a player, but it’s high time that Dallas looks beyond him and the current roster, which has the likes of Luka Doncic and Dennis Smith Jr, is a good indicator of a better future of the team.

Golden State Warriors:

Golden State Warriors have lost two times in the last four games with the overtime chastening 121-116 defeat against Los Angeles Clippers bringing the worst out of Warriors and Draymond Green in particular.

The worst for warriors is their inability to cope with the pressure-cooker situations in the absence of Stephen Curry. Also, there were many believing that the infamous saga which brewed between Green and Durant after the former decided not to pass the ball to the latter in dying seconds of the game against Clippers, could have been nipped in its bud had Curry been on the court. The saga didn’t end on the court as Warriors reacted by fining Green $120,000 for instigating the play.

As for form, Warriors are in good position despite those two losses and lead the Western Conference table ahead of 2nd placed Portland Trail Blazers by two games. However, before the game against Dallas, the Dubs will be up against Houston Rockets.

Regular Season Record-
Dallas Mavericks: W-6, L-8
Golden State Warriors: W-12, L-3

Players to watch out for:

Dallas Mavericks:

Luka Doncic – He is just 19 but showing the maturity of a seasoned player in this campaign. The 2018 1st round pick is dropping 19.1 points per game this season; good enough to be in your team.

Wesley Matthews – He is averaging 16.2 points this season. The 32-year-old is a good option as a team player, while Harrison Barnes is another player who you could draft in your team.

Golden State Warriors:

Kevin Durant – He is Mr Indispensable-2 in Oakland for Golden State Warriors. The former Oklahoma City Thunder is too good a talent to be left out from your squad. Durant is dropping 27.5 points per game and accumulates a good number of rebounds and assists in every game. Surely a candidate to be your star player.
Klay Thompson It looks as if he is tailor-made for the difficult situations and for Warriors, missing Stephen Curry is a haunting. But the less-famous Splash Brother erupts when the going gets tough and his recent showing confirms this notion. His career average is 19.3 but in the last five games, the 28-year-old is dropping points at 26.0 per game. Clearly a man in form.

DAL vs GSW DREAM11 TEAM NEWS:
Dallas Mavericks:
Injured – Though he is 40, Dirk Nowitzki is still a big deal in Dallas. The 2011 NBA champion is suffering from an ankle injury and won’t be playing in this match.

Questionable – There are no other issues.

Suspended – None.

Golden State Warriors:
Injured – The recent reports indicate that superstar Stephen Curry will at least miss the next five games due to the groin injury he suffered in the game against Milwaukee Bucks. The two-times NBA MVP is a big loss and the Warriors must make do without him for the next few games.
In addition, DeMarcus Cousins remains sidelined as the former New Pelicans star continues to recover from the Achilles injury.
Questionable – No player has been listed as questionable as of yet

Suspended – None

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:

There is no denying the fact that Dallas are in good form while Warriors have been forced to show the chinks in their strong armour in the absence of Stephen Curry. But Dubs could be the team to end Mavericks’ upsurge of the recent games and that’s our prediction – A Warriors win.
