DAL vs OKC Dream11 Team News:
Oklahoma City Thunder:
Andre Roberson is back in normal training but his status for the Dallas game is yet to be determined. The 27-year-old forward hasn’t played a competitive game for Thunder since rupturing his left patellar tendon in January 2018. He participated in parts of practise ahead of this game, but OKC is taking a conservative approach to easing him back on the court.
OKC initially announced a 17 man squad for the practice but added four more players, DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell, Abdul Gaddy, Myke Henry, and Eric Moreland, to their training camp ahead of the pre-season.
This will be a tough season for Thunder who had to part ways with Paul George and their own Russell Westbrook as well as Jeremi Grant. But the deals also saw them winning multiple future first draft picks and some impressive and clever trade deals.
Chris Paul will certainly be the new and the biggest face playing for OKC this season, but it’s the capture of Danilo Gallinari and Shai-Gilgeous Alexander which added depth to the squad.
Both Alexander and Gallinari arrive from the Clippers as part of the Paul Geroge deal.
Thunder will put their faith in their big man Steven Adams in the central position, while Dennis Schroder should be allowed deeper role within the squad this season.
Mavericks added Yudai Baba to their final 20-man roster for the pre-season. Baba had a good 2019 summer league with the Mavericks and soon became a fan favorite.
Since Mavs will have to trim down the roster to 15 players before the start of the NBA 2019-20 season, Baba along with players such as Josh Reaves and Antonius Cleveland will be looking to make an impact in the pre-season to nail down a contract.
Mavs also added Seth Curry to their roster in the off-season. The younger brother of Stephen Curry is a very good option from the bench.
Luka Doncic will be in the 2nd year in NBA and will least aim to match the influence he had in his rookie season.
