DAL vs UTA Dream11: Hello NBA fans! How is it going? It has been another fun season, isn’t it? Talk about different teams rising up and raising their game and some of the more elite squads falling off big-time. This rise and fall have been the way of the league since its inception and it is not a surprise that we have so many varied results as the season rolls on. With the Playoffs nearing, the push for the rankings will only become extreme and you can bet that we will see the Playoffs-like intensity before the actual thing begins. And of course, the two teams who meet here in Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz here know what an important window this is for them,
The Mavericks have been playing an inspired brand of basketball since the beginning of the year. They have built a defensive identity and it is clear that they will be a tough squad down the line if their main defenders and Luka are available. This team has risen up the ranks with each month and you can see much more from them.
On the other hand, the Jazz has been playing at a high-clip as well and after they fell headfirst during January, a determined Donovan Mitchell and much more improved defense have put the team back in the contention to finish at a high rank. This is an experienced team and a unit that has now accumulated a large number of games together.
Host: Dallas Mavericks
Visitors: Utah Jazz

Venue: American Airlines Center
Let us talk about what is cooking here
Mavericks brought in Spencer Dinwiddie and Davis Bertans in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis during the trade deadline. An exchange that has surely helped them bolster their bench and although they had to give up Kristaps, I believe his injury concerns had the team in a different direction. And ever since Spencer Dinwiddie has been added to the squad, he has brought a top-notch level of scoring and playmaking, this trade has worked out for both the player and the team alike.
Now if we look at what else this team has to offer, not mentioning Luka Doncic is criminal but overlooking the presence of strong defenders like Dorian Finney-Smith, Bullock, Powell, and Kleber are even more criminal. This defensive-oriented unit has given the Mavericks a ton of impetus and the squad has done a great job of closing out on the defensive in the ending moments when you have a finisher like Doncic, this is a beautifully built squad that doesn’t focus on pairing up superstars but has found a balance that works in a brilliant way.
When we talk about Utah Jazz, the balance is surely there as well. The team’s defense fell off when Rudy Gobert went out but a Gobert-less unit then ultimately figured it out on that end. And now that he has returned, the team looks primed for a deep playoff run. I have a lot of faith in the Utah Jazz last season. Yes, they had the best record in the league last season but fell flat against the Clippers in the Second Round but I believe they should be taken seriously to make a deep run. For some reason, I have a belief that not having the pressure of having the best record in the league will be away.
There is one other reason why I say that they can make a deep run. This current unit has a ton of experience playing together and when you look at the roster make-up, you get a two-way PG in Conley, a high-yielding off-guard in Donovan Mitchell, an effective wing in Bojan Bogdanovic, a defensive big Forward in Royce O’Neale, and a defensive-minded Center in Rudy Gobert. Jordan Clarkson brings decent scoring off the bench as well. This unit can indeed make a deep playoff run and it will not be a surprise, they are one of the dark horses to go all the way in my estimation.

Luka Doncic(DAL)
Points: 35
Rebounds: 16
Assists: 07
Steals: 03

Doncic is my pick for MVP because he has propelled Dallas to so many wins and he brings, playmaking, improved defense, and a LOT of scoring to the plate. The guard has made it a routine to drop 30+ points, grab 8+ rebounds, and dish 6+ assists. He can be considered as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Fantasy scenario.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 49-73
Julius Randle(UTA)
Points: 46
Rebounds: 10
Assists: 02
Blocks: 01
Steals: 01
Power Forward Julius has been doing a brilliant job as an all-around player, notching big-time boards and with much more sustained offensive effort. The Forward has scored 24 or more in three of the last four games, while grabbing 6-10 rebounds, and dishing 3-7 assists range these days.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 38-53
RJ Barrett(UTA)
Points: 29
Rebounds: 08
Assists: 06
Center Gobert has done a spectacular job as the team’s premier defender, rebounder, and also inside finisher. The reigning Defensive of the Player has been in the 12-18 points, 11-17 rebounds and 1-3 blocks range recently.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 29-40
Spencer Dinwiddie(DAL)
Points: 23
Rebounds: 03
Assists: 02
Dinwiddie is a prime example of inserting a player into the right system and seeing the results follow, he has been thriving with Dallas both as a scorer and playmaker. The Guard has been usually in the 19-26 points and 5-9 assists range, benefits from playing alongside Doncic.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 26-36
Bojan Bogdanovic(UTA)
Points: 35
Rebounds: 05
Assists: 03
Incredibly talented wing Bojan has been having another impressive season in terms of scoring and also provides serviceable rebounding. The SF has usually been in the 18-23 points and 4-5 rebounds range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 28-38
Dorian Finney-Smith(DAL)

Since Porzingis is gone, the defensive big Forward has picked up his scoring big time and has become a formidable two-way Forward. He has usually been in 14-18 points and 5-9 rebounds range these days.
