Aaron Gordon dunking DEN vs GOS Dream11

DEN vs GOS Dream11: The NBA Playoffs train is chooing-chooing on with full speed and we have seen plenty of arresting battles already as we head closer to the championship. In the West, two series are tied now while the Pelicans can become a headache to the Suns. The Golden State Warriors have taken an incredible three-nil lead and can become the first team here to qualify for the Second Round of the Playoffs.

The Guard trio of Curry, Thompson, and Poole proved too much in Game 3 and due to that, the Warriors pulled away late, winning 118:113. The Nuggets did receive a special effort from Jokic in the last game but their defense has been unable to contain the strong offensive output of the Warriors courtesy of the guard trio. Can the Nuggets at least force a Game 5?

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis

Warriors long-range shooting is clicking

Warriors have made around 18 triples in the first three games and the decision to bring Stephen Curry off the bench has panned out well as the bench has been significantly bolstered and points have been flowing. On the defensive end, the Warriors kept Jokic at bay in the first two games but the Center exploded for a strong game in the last one, however, that wasn’t enough against the Warriors ever-threatening offense.

The other trouble for the Nuggets has been identifying the major offensive option other than Jokic. While Aaron Gordon had 18 points in the last game, he didn’t make much of an offensive impact in the first two games while Will Barton continues to be inconsistent which hurts the team’s chances again and again. Monte Morris has done a decent job but that has not been enough in the face of the offensive assault.

For the Warriors, having defensive anchor Draymond Green also helps in managing the offensive option courtesy of his elite playmaking. On the other hand, Otto Porter Jr. and Gary Payton II bring terrific defense off the bench, which helps Warriors in keeping the valve tight even when both teams’ benches come into the play.

Fantasy Related Tips

Jokic will again be a major option in the fantasy scenario and he showed in the last game why he is the most reliable fantasy pick in the league on most nights. Stephen Curry and Jordan Poole are two picks that have brought huge value meanwhile Draymond Green may not score many points but bring a lot of value as a rebounder and playmaker. Andrew Wiggins’ stocks have fallen off while Aaron Gordon seems to have reclaimed his spot as a Fantasy option. Will Barton can be an effective option too but Monte Morris’ fantasy points haven’t been that high.

NBA Scores, Fantasy Basketball Top Picks

Nikola Jokic(DEN)
Points: 37
Rebounds: 18
Assists: 05
Steals: 03
Center Jokic pulled in a 14/22 in the last game and that was his best shooting performance in the series so far also providing incredible rebounding and playmaking. I believe he will be in 28-34 points, 10+ rebounds, and 5-7 assists range. He is a candidate as Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Fantasy scenario.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 50-72

Stephen Curry(GOS)
Points: 27
Rebounds: 03
Assists: 06

Point Guard Curry is the leading three-point shooter in the league and there is no need to lay out an introduction for one of the most well-known persons. He can be in 25-33 points and 4-6 assists range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 32-42

Will Barton(DEN)
Points: 13
Rebounds: 04
Assists: 05
Steals: 01

After a strong Game 1, Barton has shot below 40% in the last two games but his overall production has been still more than respectable. He can be in 12-18 points, 4-6 rebounds, and 2-5 assists range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 20-36

Jordan Poole(GOS)
Points: 27
Rebounds: 03
Assists: 03
Steals: 01
Blocks: 01
Poole made 9 of his 13 attempts in Game 3 and turned on the heat to pull the Warriors ahead late in the game. The Guard keeps growing with each game and I expect a 22-29 points and 3-6 assists range here.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 30-50
Jordan Poole DEN vs GOS Dream11

Aaron Gordon(DEN)
Points: 18
Rebounds: 12
Assists: 04
Blocks: 01
A strong second half enable Gordon to have seven made field Goals in 13 attempts but it wasn’t enough and perhaps an effort like that should have been in the first games too. I believe he will be in 14-21 points and 6-10 rebounds range here.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 22-35

Draymond Green(GOS)
Points: 06
Rebounds: 05
Assists: 10
Steals: 02
Blocks: 01

Power Forward Green is not a major defensive presence, he is also an incredible playmaker and helps the Warriors in numerous ways, screen-setting being a major part of it. I expect a 5-9 points, 6-10 assists, and 5-9 rebounds range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 22-38

GOS vs DEN DREAM11 LINEUP BALANCERS

  • Klay Thompson(GOS) had 26 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 2 blocks in the last game. Two-guard Klay has been an incredible shooter and what a difference he makes. He made six triples in the last game and I expect a 19-26 points range here.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 27-40
  • Andrew Wiggins(GOS) had 9 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal in the last game. SF Wiggins hasn’t been scoring that many points but he has been a strong rebounder in the small-ball scheme. I expect a 11-18 points and 4-8 rebounds range here.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 20-32
  • Monte Morris(DEN) had 10 points, 6 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 steals in the last game. Monte has been a strong shooter but missed four of his five attempts from three in the last game. I expect a 9-15 points and 4-7 assists range here.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 18-28
  • Bones Hyland(DEN) had 5 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 steals in the last game. Rookie Bones’ is still bringing decent value despite limited minutes and he can be in 4-8 points and 2-4 assists range here.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 7-14
  • Otto Porter Jr.(GOS) had 6 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals in the last game. Porter Jr. gives great dimension to the Forward position and fits well in the small-ball scheme. I believe he will be in 4-9 points, 3-7 rebounds, and 1-2 steals range.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 13-23
  • Nemanja Bjelica(GOS) had 2 points, 2 assists, 1 rebound, 1 block in the last game. Center Bjelica has done a decent job off the bench and he can be in 3-5 points and 2-4 rebounds range.
