DEN vs PHI Dream11: These Franchises who will meet have here have graced the NBA floor for many decades now. In this game, a depleted Sixers team visits another depleted squad in Denver Nuggets. Philly has lost five games in a row without their Superstar Center Joel Embiid while Nuggets lost to Mavs in the last game but have done well overall this season.
Sixers look befuddled on both ends of the floor with Joel Embiid out due to COVID-19. Matias Thybulle’s absence has also caused a defensive hole. The team is heavily reliant upon Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris for offense while Seth Curry has been out-of-rhythm lately. The team has a plethora of guards such as Korkmaz and Milton apart from Curry and Maxey, but things aren’t clicking without Joel.
Denver has held fort without two of their stars in Jamal Murray and Michael Porter. Of course, having the reigning MVP Jokic helps their cause but role players like Will Barton and Aaron Gordon have stepped up in this situation. Jeff Green provides veteran production while the rest of the unit is getting playing time due to a lack of resources right now.

Nuggets are hanging on Nuggets’ calling card is their defense. The team allows the least points per game with around 98 PPG only and has kept teams under the 100 points mark in more than half of their total games. This defense combined with the all-around play of Jokic has been one of the reasons why they have been able to scrape victories. With no Murray and Porter Jr. around, the team scores just around 103 points per game, which is among bottom ten so it is the defense that has kept them alive. No Embiid, no gains Sixers have allowed teams to score 115-120 points continuously during their five-game skid. It is obvious that Embiid provides them the defensive integrity and also plays big on offense. The offensive side has also been underwhelming with the Sixers not getting quality looks they got with Embiid who engaged the defense in multiple ways. Perhaps, the value of Ben Simmons can be realized now who could at least address defensive issues and open up passing lanes.
