DEN vs POR Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Never in the history of the NBA playoffs, had a game went to the four overtimes to decide the winner since 1953. It happened again, in Game-3 of the Western Conference semifinals matchup between Portland Trail Blazers with the former winning 140-137 at Moda Center.

With the game went so deep, there had to be a hero, ready to embrace the situation. There was an unexpected one. He was due as well, for what happened in the last season’s playoffs.

Rodney Hood struggled in the 2018 postseason, so it was his time for redemption. He had the ball and buried a three-pointer with just 18.6 seconds left. Nuggets took a 3-point lead at 140-137 and Nuggets ran out of the time.

Hood was with Cleveland Cavaliers last season and couldn’t break into the team. He was acquired by Portland in February this year, and now he can say after his heroic efforts that the rest is history.

He was brilliant in the fourth overtime, scoring seven straight points to set the tone for his team.

CJ McCollum erupted for a game-high 41 points, while his more esteemed partner Damian Lillard scored 28 points.

Nuggets were led by Nikola Jokic’s triple-double with 33 points, 14 assists, and 18 rebounds. Jamal Murray scored 34 points and had 9 rebounds as well.

Regular Season Record-
Portland Trail Blazers:
W-53, L-29
Denver Nuggets:
W-54, L-28

Players to watch out for:

Portland Trail Blazers:

Damian Lillard – It takes more than just the talent to produce a buzzer-beater, while in the playoff, the buzzer beater is something esoteric. Damian Lillard finished off Oklahoma City Thunder with his Goldust shot in the first round series, and his confidence and the form is the reason why Portland Trail Blazers are being seen as a dark horse for the ultimate glory.

The 28-year-old point guard is averaging 30.8 points per game in the playoffs.

CJ McCollum – Just when it counted, he came good. And it was not a fluke or a flash in the pan for McCollum is too good a talent and is consistent enough to become a go-to-man in any team.

The 27-year-old is averaging 25 points per game in the 2019 postseasons. While in the last game, he dropped a game-high 41 points.

Denver Nuggets:

Nikola Jokic – The Big Serbian was at the good in Game-3, logging a triple-double with 33 points, 14 assists and 18 rebounds.

He played for 65 minutes in Game-3, the 3rd most minuted clocked in the NBA playoffs.

Jamal Murray – Jokic’s sidekick went for 34points in Game-3. Murray is Nuggets’ second highest scorer in the playoffs with 19.0 points per game.
