DEN vs UTA Dream11: COVID-19 has wreaked havoc but hey, the NBA has dealt with as much as possible and that is why the league has gone on despite the pesky presence of the virus. Now, with the trade deadline approaching, don’t be surprised if there is a lot of player movement and now with some teams figuring out their problems, some of the areas are to be addressed. If the two teams in Utah Jazz and Denver Nuggets engage in some trades then don’t be surprised, they have some holes to fill after all.
Anyway, Utah Jazz has been doing well in the overall scheme, winning 28 and losing 14 but has lost four in a row and without Rudy Gobert, their already average defense has already been hurt even more. On the other hand, the Denver Nuggets have 22 wins and 19 losses, and they may look a worse team than Jazz record-wise but they have played some scintillating basketball recently. How will they react now after two big wins in a row?

Nuggets: They need to win against elite teams
Denver has done well taking care of business against the sub 50% win record teams but their problems are exacerbated against teams that play at a higher level. Nuggets have a lot of potential and well when you have a player like Nikola Jokic in your team, you can get quality points, rebounds, assists, and some great leadership. Gordon has been providing spark and despite his erratic scoring, he can pick it up when needed. Morris, Campazzo, Barton, and Hyland form a more than decent guard quarter with Barton’s all-around play, Morris’ perimeter shooting, Campazzo’s playmaker, and Hyland has been inconsistent but he can explode every now and then. The biggest difference make recently has been Jeff Green who can provide electric dunks and he has been doing well in terms of scoring. Overall, the Nuggets may lack depth but they don’t lack the heart to compete in contrast to a loaded team like the Lakers.
Jazz: Do they need some changes?
Utah has been a high-producing offensive squad lately and with Mitchell, Clarkson, Conley, Bogdanovic, Ingles, and O’Neale, shooting is certainly not in short supply. Mitchell is the engineer of most offense through his all-around package, Conley does more than a decent at the one guard position while Bogdanovic can easily score more than 15 points during most games. Clarkson can produce shots out of thin air using his creativity in terms of dribble moves. Now, why has the team struggled so much recently, losing four in a row? Well, when Gobert went away, they had lost their interior defense, high-quality help defense, and both rebounding and paint scoring which helps in spreading the floor too. Well, even when he returns, the Jazz lacks discipline on the defensive end overall and may need to bring a defensive-minded wing I believe, what is the answer for that problem?

Jokic leads the league in triple-doubles and lets us not forget, this big is the reigning MVP. And well, like a reigning MVP, he has usually scored in the 20-25 points, grabs 11-16 rebounds, and 6+ assists on a regular basis. The Center is the favorite for the Star-Player in the Dream11 NBA scene.

Expected Fantasy Points Range: 21-29
Jordan Clarkson(UTA)
Points: 22
