DEN vs UTA Dream11: COVID-19 and injuries can combine for a devastating duo and can suck the life out of a team. Still, the league’s provisions to sign players on ten day-deals and the flexibility towards quarantine time period has breathed significant life back. And that is how, despite more than a million COVID-19 cases per day in the USA, the ball has hit the floor.
In this game, the Denver Nuggets take on the Utah Jazz in a Western Conference battle. Denver Nuggets have been playing some decent basketball this season but they look far from a contender right now. Denver has largely depended upon Nikola Jokic and the defensive end for the team has been compromised since Michael Porter Jr. has been down. On the other hand, with Monte Morris being absent, the perimeter shooting and spacing have also taken a big hit.
On the other hand, the Utah Jazz has their first COVID-19 protocol absentee in the form of Joe Ingles while Rudy Gobert and Bojan Bogdanovic are questionable for the contest, all of whom are key rotation players. Perhaps Jordan Clarkson and Mike Conley will see a further uptick in their minutes to fill on for the potential absentees and also to bridge the gap caused by Ingles’ absence.

Nuggets: What does this season mean for them?
Acquiring 18 wins and 17 losses, the Nuggets are fifth in the Western Conference standings and totally in the Playoff scene. This is due to Nikola Jokic’s high level of play and heavy-duty minutes. Once again, the team has missed Michael Porter Jr. and Jamal Murray, one key defender(Porter) and the other key shot-creator(Murray). Not having these two have disrupted the balance on both ends and that is why the Nuggets look short on depth during many games. The bigger trouble has been Monte Morris’ absence who could at least keep perimeter defenses busy. Still, Aaron Gordon has picked up his offense, while Will Barton despite his falling offensive production has given the team all-around production. Meanwhile, JaMychal Green, Jeff Green, Bones Hyland, Austin Rivers, and Davon Reed have been decent options.
Jazz: Now we will know what their depth is all about!
There is no doubt that the Utah Jazz has been one of the most if not the healthiest team in the league. But now with their premier reserve Joe Ingles in the health & safety protocols, along with Rudy Gobert and Bojan Bogdanovic being questionable, the team’s depth can be challenged. Still, if Mitchell is good to go, watch out for his big-time offense, Jordan Clarkson can also produce high-yielding offense and Mike Conley complements the guard trio well here. Perhaps with Gay in the fray, the team can have a stretch-three/four and the Jazz can still field an intimidating offense. But yes, if Gobert is missing then stopping Jokic will surely be a hassle. What will see from the Jazz team here?
