DET vs HOU Dream11: With COVID-19 still baring its fangs, more and more players miss out on games and roster balances have taken a hit. In this game, the Houston Rockets will visit the Detroit Pistons in a West-East tussle. The Rockets have lost four out of the last five after going on a seven-game winning streak earlier, on the other hand, the Detroit Pistons have not won since mid-November and are on a whopping 13-game losing streak.
Rockets looked like they will finish with the worst record this season after they went on an appalling 14-game losing streak but then their fortunes turned when they won seven in a row. Houston wasn’t expected to win many games this season and their 9-20 record speaks volumes for what is their potential trajectory.
Pistons have the worst record in the league. They have not won in a month and they look even more out of sorts without their wing scorer Jerami Grant. Detroit Pistons, like Houston, wasn’t expected to win many games and they have certainly proven that. With multiple rookie-sophomores as main rotation players, it is hardly a surprise.

Rockets: Wood is essential Who said the big man era is over? We have seen Nikola Jokic dominate, Joel Embiid is a key, and their teams can’t win many games without them. For the Rockets, Christian Wood plays a similar role and can occupy the middle, grab boards, and give sustained effort on both ends of the floor. Houston receives 15+ points, 10+ rebounds, blocks, steals, and much more from Wood who is becoming an elite Center. With Gordon, Matthews, Tate, Kenyon Martin Jr., Theis, Christopher, DJ Augustin, the Rockets are not totally bereft of depth but yes, the team is largely a work-in-progress. Pistons: Do they have the foundation? Rookie Cade Cunningham has been scintillating and has shown his all-around repository, scoring around 20, compiling 6 or more rebounds and assists constantly. The concern is regarding Saddiq Bey, who has been way too consistent scoring-wise while Killian Hayes contributes next to nothing on the offensive end. While Isaiah Stewart is a terrific rebounder, he still needs more polishing and overall, I feel the Pistons young talent isn’t of the same level as Orlando Magic. Still, that is the whole point of a rebuilding team, you make mistakes, lose games, but you also grow in the process. Houston Rockets | Detroit Pistons Games: 29| 27 Wins: 09| 04 Defeats: 20| 23
