DET vs LAL Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Detroit Pistons will look to end a two-game skid when they host Los Angeles Lakers in a regular season NBA match at Little Caesars Arena, in Midtown Detroit, on Saturday morning (IST).

This was expected to be a game between the two teams playing on the same level, and looking to achieve the same targets. But Detroit Pistons ended up on the receiving end of one of the most lopsided games of the season.

No team has the right to win the games when it allows the opponent leniency enough to post a 21-0 run in the match. Pistons did in the 2nd half, in the 3rd quarter to be precise, which ended 31-8 in favour of Miami. That was it. The match ended there. Pistons lost the match 108-74 and missed the great chance to strengthen their position in the top-8.

Almost all the players struggled in the match and the reason remains a mystery. Perhaps it was just one of those days when nothing clicked for Blake Griffin and Co.

While for Los Angels Lakers, the season has little to offer. But there’s no stopping LeBron James, and he showed his insatiable thirst for winning matches as he dropped a game-high 36 points as the Showtime won 107-123 against Chicago Bulls. The 34-year-old also added a magnificent 10 rebounds to his efforts.

This has been the story of the season so far. At times LeBron looks like a lone warrior trying to push the team beyond its limit. But he can do only so much in a season.

The win was Lakers’ first in the six matches. The Showtime are now 31-36 in the season and sit at 11th in the Western Conference.

Regular Season Record-
Detroit Pistons:
W-34, L-33
Los Angeles Lakers:
W-27, L-36

Players to watch out for:

Detroit Pistons:
Blake Griffin –
Struggled in the last game but the 29-year-old remains Detroit Pistons’ best player this season. He has been racking up 25.3 points per game at an efficiency rate of 21.15. His season high is 50 points which came in his sixth appearance of the season.

Andre Drummond –  The 2012 1st round pick is scoring at 20.6 points per game and remains the player with highest rebounds (15.2) per game this season.

Los Angeles Lakers:
LeBron James –
Scored 36 points as Lakers finally ended a run of five straight defeats. The former Cleveland Cavaliers superstar is now fourth on the list of most points scored in the NBA history, getting past Michael Jordan on the list. The 34-year-old is racking up 27.3 points per game, 8.7 rebounds per game and 8 assists per game. Truly, a once in a lifetime kind of player.
Kyle Kuzma – In a season, where Lakers struggled to find a consistent performer behind Lebron James’ for the positives, this young star has emerged as a player for the future. The 21-year-old has is scoring points at 18.9 per game.

DET vs LAL Dream11 Fantasy Team:

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:

Detroit Pistons are 21-13 in home games this season, while Los Angles Lakers have gone 13-20 on the road. If Pistons play as they did against Heat, Lakers can bully them, but they are too good a team to repeat that sort of performance in a matter of days.
A win for the Lakers is our call.
