GSW vs IND Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Indiana Pacers will look to end a three-game skid when they travel to take on the mighty Golden State Warriors in a regular season NBA match at Oracle Arena, in Oakland, California, United States, on Friday morning (IST).

After losing a high-profile match against San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors are now back to winning ways after downing Minnesota Timberwolves 107-117 at Target Center.

The loss against Gregg Popovich’s Spurs could just be a necessary evil for Steve Kerr at this point in the season. The match revealed what could be wrong with the Dubs as they head into the season-defining post-season.

Though we all know that the reigning champions find another gear in the playoffs, there’s no denying that the teams are getting more cautious and extra aggressive when facing Steve Kerr’s men. There could be one team with Dubs’ measurement in their pockets. So that loss at AT&T Center where Warriors’ frailties were out in the open, may be needed.

But there aren’t many weaknesses in the Warriors’ team. And against Minnesota Timberwolves there were hardly any.

Stephen Curry produced another masterclass and showed how deadly he is from beyond the arc as he dropped a game-high 36 points which had 8 3-pointers.

Klay Thompson wasn’t far behind scoring 28 points, while the returning Kevin Durant hardly needed to flex his muscles in his 17 points display.

The Dubs are now 5-5 in the last 10 matches and improved their regular season record to 48-22.

Indiana Pacers, meanwhile, are coming into this match after losing 3 straight games. The last one coming against Los Angeles Clippers, losing 115-109 at Staples Center.

Not even a single player managed to sneak into the 20s, with Bojan Bogdanovic and Tyreke Evans both scoring 19 points each.

Now it seems why Indiana Pacers can’t just go on without Victor Oladipo all season. Not into the playoffs without the services of their best player. The streak they managed to put ever since he got injured, is remarkable. That can easily be summarized into “punching above weights”.

Regular Season Record-
Golden State Warriors:
W-48, L-22
Indiana Pacers:
W-44, L-28

Players to watch out for:

Golden State Warriors:
Stephen Curry–
Scored 36 points in the last match, including 8 incredible Baskets from beyond the arc. In terms of numbers, he is Warriors’ best player this season. The two-time NBA MVP is averaging a team-high 27.9 points per game. His contribution goes beyond just points though, as his presence on the court is more than enough to put off most teams.

Klay Thompson – With Kevin Durant struggling for fitness and consistency of late, Klay Thompson is a good option to look up to when things go out of control on the court. He is now more mature and not a second fiddle anymore. He is as important a player on Warriors’ roster as are Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry. The 27-year-old is good with the ball, both inside the paint and beyond the arc. He recently buried his 200th 3-pointer of the season and became just the 2nd player in the history to rack up that many baskets in a single. And guess what, who is the 2nd? Stephen Curry.

Indiana Pacers:
Bojan Bogdanovic –
Nicknamed, the “Croatian Sniper”, he is a big reason why Indiana Pacers are staying afloat in the battle for the playoffs. The 29-year-old has scored at 23.4 points per game in the last 10 matches, helping Pacers to their current 4th position in the Eastern Conference.

Domantas Sabonis –
Still just 22, this young power forward has a big future lying ahead of him. He has given some match changing performances this season, and against Oklahoma City Thunder his prowesses were there see. The 2016 round 1 pick, dropped 26 points in that match.

GSW vs IND Dream11 Fantasy Team:

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
An away game against Golden State Warriors; it’s one of the toughest arenas to play Basketball. Pacers’ chances to get a positive result at Oracle Arena are reduced even further; first, they are out of form, second, Warriors’ holy-trinity is back to full fitness.
Indiana may be flying high in the Eastern Conference, but they are not a good traveller, having lost 19 times on the road already this season.
A win for Steve Kerr’s men is our call.
