GSW vs LAL Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Can Los Angeles Lakers beat Golden State Warriors without LeBron James? The Showtime brace themselves for the visit of Dubs as the reigning champions visit Hollywood for an NBA match to be played at Staples Center, in Los Angeles, on Tuesday morning (IST).

Golden State Warriors won their seventh consecutive game after beating Los Angeles Clippers 112-94 at Staples Center. This is the best such streak in NBA at the moment, and their winning percentage is slowly reaching towards 0.700 with every win. Only two teams boast that sort of record, Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors.

Los Angeles Lakers, meanwhile, suffered an overtime loss against Houston Rockets. James Harden proved to be too hot to handle for Luke Walton’s team.

The Showtime, however, led by a massive 18 points at the break after winning the first two quarters 39-26 and 25-20. Kyle Kuzma dropped 20 of his 32 match points in the first quarter alone.

But Rockets retaliated by going on a 15-0 run late in the third quarter and cut the deficit to just four points ahead of the fourth quarter.

Lakers had the victory dancing in front of them when Ivica Zubac converted two free throws to give Lakers three points lead with just a few seconds to go in the fourth quarter. Then Eric Gordon produced a jump from beyond the arc and sent the ball towards the hoop, burying a three-pointer and forced the overtime.

Regular Season Record-
Los Angeles Lakers:
W-25, L-22
Golden State Warriors:
W-32, L-14

Players to watch out for:

Los Angeles Lakers:
Kyle Kuzma –
It was always going to be difficult for Los Angeles Lakers to keep the momentum going in the absence of Lebron James. And yes, the Lakers have toiled in the last 13 matches which James missed, but it could have been worse had kyle Kuzma not stepped up his game. The 21-year-old is averaging 19.3 points per game and 22.3 in the last 10 matches.
Brandon Ingram – He is another young player in the Lakers’ rank who has a big future ahead of him. The 21-year-old is lacking consistency these days, but there have been enough flashes of brilliance which showed his true potential.

Golden State Warriors:
Kevin Durant –
The player who gave Warriors another dimension in Kevin Durant. The 30-year-old is one of the big reasons why the Dubs won almost one-sided NBA championships in the last two seasons. The former Oklahoma City Thunder star is once again racking up points at a good rate this season, scoring at 28.1 points per game.
Stephen Curry – Warriors’ own son! He is Golden State Warriors’ face, the power which made the Dubs a household name in the Basketball world. The 30-year-old is a two-time NBA MVP and has spent all his professional career with Warriors. He will also go down in NBA history books as the best shooter ever.
Curry is averaging 29.8 points per game this season, the 2nd best this season. In the last 10 matches, the 2009 1st round pick is dropping points at 32.6 per game.
