Jordan Poole dunking over Jaren Jackson MEM vs GSW Dream11

GSW vs MEM Dream11: NBA Playoffs are in full swing and we have witnessed some extraordinary battles already. The Eastern Conference has seen the 76ers close in after beating Heat and making the series one-two, while the Celtics and the Bucks are tied one-each. In the Western Conference, the Mavericks made it a one-two series. And now we head into the most interesting Playoffs series in my opinion as the Golden State Warriors host the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies lost the first game but in the last game, their defense and an injection of Ja Morant led them to a 106:101 win. Once again, the game went to the last few seconds, and Ja Morant’s ability to close the game was in full flow. The Warriors shot awfully from the long-range and Klay Thompson once again was off the mark. Will we witness another highly thrilling affair?

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis

Yummy series

Two games, two thrillers. I knew that this series will kick off in such a fashion considering how evenly these two teams are. To be honest, we haven’t seen the best scoring balance yet, especially from the Grizzlies team, a squad that becomes too dependent on Ja Morant and loses its scoring balance at times, which was the team’s strength when Morant went down. This has been because Bane has been having little impact on offense and Jaren Jackson remains erratic.

But the Warriors also shot terribly from the long-range in the last game. Thompson has now had two sub-par performances but Poole and Thompson have done well. The problem with the Warriors is that they have a tendency to take bad shots and at times while pushing the ball, they commit too many turnovers, as explained by 18 of them in the last game. One other issue for the Warriors has been that the team isn’t closing out well and although they did won Game 1, it was rather an ugly win.

And so was Game 2 as an ugly win for the Grizzlies. Thanks to Morant, who almost had 50 points and showed one of his best games all season long but I don’t think this approach will help the Grizzlies win the series. The team’s bench has seen some inspirational play from Melton but although Brandon Clarke remains a strong presence, his play is not as effective as it was against the Wolves. Will see another close affair here? Will we see more ejections?

Ja Morant(MEM)
Points: 47
Rebounds: 08
Assists: 08

Steals: 03
Morant inserted 15 of his 31 attempts in the last game and has been the sole focus on the offensive end for the Grizzlies, being on fire. I expect 30-36 points, 6-9 assists/rebounds range. He can be chosen as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Fantasy scenario.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 40-59
Ja Morant dunking GSW vs MEm Dream11

Stephen Curry(GSW)
Points: 27
Rebounds: 09
Assists: 08
Steals: 01
Curry has been a little wayward shooting-wise, missing eight of his eleven attempts from the field but continuing to be an all-around factor. I expect a 27-37 points, 5-8 assists, and 4-7 rebounds range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 32-44

Jaren Jackson Jr(MEM)
Points: 12
Rebounds: 08

After a brilliant 6/9 three-point shooting night in Game 1, Jaren shot a paltry 3/14 in the last game, providing elite defense. I expect 14-19 points, 7-11 rebounds, and 1-3 blocks range here.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 25-44

Desmond Bane(MEM)
Points: 05
Rebounds: 06

Bane has made just two of his nine shots from deep in the two games and has not been a big factor on offense like he usually is. I expect a 13-20 points and 3-6 rebounds range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 22-30

Jordan Poole(GSW)
Points: 20
Rebounds: 03
Assists: 05
Poole made eight of his 16 shots in Game 2, but made only just one of his six attempts from long-range and has done well sharing the ball. I expect a 20-26 points and 4-7 assists range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 25-33

Draymond Green(GSW)
Points: 06
Rebounds: 10
Assists: 07

Expected Fantasy Points Range: 23-38
