GSW vs NOP DREAM11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Golden State Warriors host New Orleans Pelicans in an NBA match at the Oracle Arena, Oakland, California, on Thursday morning.

Golden State Warriors:

Golden State Warriors registered their fifth straight victory in the regular seaosn with a 149-124 mauling of Chicago Bulls at United Center.

Just four days after a surreal performance from Stephen Curry which even forced Kevin Durant to come at a standstill and just enjoy the magic of his vision and accuracy, came the game for his Splash Brother Klay Thompson. The 28-year-old Small-Guard dropped 51 points in the match against the Bulls and that too in just 27 minutes.

But his points tally isn’t the reason why he hogged the limelight after this match. It was his assault on Curry’s untouchable-looking 3-pointer record which he broke in this match, made him the darling of the media for the post-match productions.

Thompson went past Curry’s 13 threes in the 3rd quarter and soon left the court. Warriors themselves ended with 27 three-pointers on a combined unit – just one off the all-time record. It will come, soon.

New Orleans Pelicans:

New Orleans Pelicans started their new campaign with four wins in as many games. But the injury to star man Anthony Davis forced him to miss the last two games and the Pelicans ended up on the wrong side of the results in both those matches.

But despite the defeats, the Pelicans still have plenty of options in their ranks who can hurt any team. In the absence of Davis, Nikola Mirotic and Julius Randle have become the team’s leading scorers. In addition, Jrue Holiday is a trustable sergeant, while E’Twaun Moore and Elfrid Payton offer further depth at the guard spots.

This match has everything of the makings of an exciting game, even more so if Anthony Dais is able to suit up.

Regular Season Record-
Golden State Warriors: W-7, L-1
New Orleans Pelicans: W-4, L-2

Players to watch out for:

Golden State Warriors:

Stephen Curry – Though perfection can never be reached for there will always be room for improvement, still, Stephen Curry is a player who has gone closest to be Basketball’s poetic-perfectionist on more than one occasion. If you are looking for a star player, he could be your blindfolded pick. For the matter of stats, Mr. pointer is averaging more than 32 points this season.

Kevin Durant – The NBA finals MVP of the last two years, a talent at par with most of his contemporaries, Kevin Durant is arguably the heir to Lebron James. His average of 28.3 points per game so far this season could be a dreamy perch for most of the Basketball players, but for him, it’s a little bit above the scratch. Another candidate for your star fantasy player.

Note: Klay Thompson is another player you could choose in your fantasy team as a star man. On his day, he can outshine both, his Splash brother Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, in a game of Basketball

New Orleans Pelicans:

Nikola Mirotic – The former Real Madrid Alumnus is the main man when Anthony Davis isn’t in the team. He has played all the six games this regular season, scoring at 22.7 points per game.

Jrue Holiday- He is a good package actually. The points, assists and the rebounds, you are set to earn good in every department if Holiday is in your team.

GSW vs NOP DREAM11 TEAM NEWS:
Golden State Warriors:
Injured – DeMarcus Cousins is definitely out of this match.
Questionable – Shaun Livingston is under day-to-day inspection. He has missed the last two games through a foot injury and is a big doubt for this game as well.
Suspended – None

New Orleans Pelicans:
Injured – No player has been listed as out just yet. However, Trevon Bluiett is on G League and won’t be available for selection.
Questionable – Pelicans have lost the two games Anthony Davis wasn’t part of. A candidate for Pre-Season MVP, Davis is still a doubt for this match due to a sprain in his right elbow.
Also, Darius Miller (right quadriceps contusion), and Elfrid Payton (right ankle sprain) have both been listed as questionable ahead of this match.
Suspended – None

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:

If New Orleans Pelicans play this match without Anthony Davis, it could be a mauling for them considering how imperious Golden State Warriors have been at the beginning of this new season so far. But Davis or no Davis, Warriors are favourites in this match and we are going to stick with the Dubs here
A win for the Warriors.
