Sacramento Kings will have their task cut out as they seek to end their three-game losing streak against the reigning champion Golden State Warriors at Golden 1 Center, in Sacramento, California, on Sunday morning (IST).

Sacramento Kings:
Though the form is against Sacramento Kings at the moment, but they should take heart from their previous meeting against the defending NBA Champions.

This is the 3rd game between these teams with the Warriors winning both the games. However, the last match was not a straightforward victory . Sacramento could have easily won that match had it not for a late meltdown.

Buddy Hield and company had a 10 point lead late in the fourth quarter but Kings wilted under the continuous pressure from the Dubs and ended up losing the match by five points.

Golden State Warriors:
The Dubs started the 2019 with a tough game against the resurgent Houston Rockets with the game managed to live up to the hype surrounded by it, thanks to the last year’s Western Conference finals.

The Warriors certainly took the game from the off and built a lead which at one point reached 20 points in the match. Steve Kerr’s holy trinity Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and James Harden were all playing with an intent and the Warriors looked to cruise home.

Curry dropped a game-high 35 points, and six assists in the night. Klay Thompson added 26 points to the effort. While the two-time NBA finals MVP scored 26 points to go with 7 rebounds in the match. DrsymonD Green had a good game as well, adding  11 rebounds and 9 points and showed a ton of defensive intensity.

Yet, Warriors were at the losing side as James Garden’s three pointer forced an overtime which Warriors lost 15-16.

Sacramento Kings:
Buddy Hield – He has taken his game to another level in the last 10 games or so. The 26-year-old has scored some big numbers in that period with his season-high 37 points coming against Oklahoma City Thunder just a few days ago. He is in very good form and can be the difference in this game.
De’Aaron Fox – Still just 21, he is Kings’ superstar in the making. For his age, his numbers are pretty good, 18.1 points per game to be precise. The 2017 NBA 1st round pick is an indispensable part of Sacramento Kings’ roster.

Golden State Warriors:
Kevin Durant – He is too good. He is the two-time NBA finals MVP. He is Kevin Durant and is racking up MVP calibre numbers. This season, his average is shooting above Stephen Curry, 28.6 points per game to be precise. The former Oklahoma City Thunder has that unique ability which can change the face of the game.
Stephen Curry – He is somebody in Warriors’ roster who can outperform even Durant on a Basketball court. Arguably the best ever shooter NBA has ever seen, the 30-year-old is racking up MVP calibre numbers this season, 28.5 points per game.
