Golden State Warriors vs Sacramento Kings

Match Timing: November 25, 2018, @ 07:00 AM IST
NBA Regular Season
Venue – Oracle Arena
Capacity- 19,596

Golden State Warriors will be looking for their first win in the last four games when they play host to Sacramento Kings in an NBA match, in Oakland, California, on Sunday morning (IST).

Golden State Warriors:

Golden State Warriors are in a rut they have never fell into. Not since their so-called dominant era started under Steve Kerr and clearly there was never a gloom as thick as this ever since Kevin Durant arrived in Oakland.

But morning seems new everyday, alien to the morbids, and the current streak should be close to an uncharted and the cursed voyage to everybody currently playing in Oakland wearing home team’s Colors.

It all started in the 3rd quarter against Los Angeles Clippers when Stephen Curry hobbled off, forced by his groin and Warriors- doomed.

The Dubs have played 5 games since then, losing the last four and the only win came against Atlanta Hawks, easily a candidate for the worst team in NBA this season.

While the last match was against a direct candidate for the Western Conference premiership, Oklahoma City Thunder, and it was a game where Dubs looked a team closer to the bottom and bereft of any quality, barring two certain names.

Six games in a regular season of 82 matches is not enough to reveal a team’s soul and Warriors are an open book. There’s no team that can match their potential and quality on any given day. But it’s something else which may have forced them to give in this time around.

Kevin Durant and Draymond Green?

Sacramento Kings:

For Sacramento Kings, a 110-119 win over Utah Jazz was their second in a row. It followed it up an equally impressive result, a 117-113 win over Oklahoma City Thunder.

Those two wins saw them splitting their last 10 games, and improved their overall record to 10-8, and sit at 10th heading into this match.

Should they win this game against a struggling Warriors, Sacramento could move into the playoffs spot.

Hosts’ wavering steps, visitors’ own good form and there are enough motivational factors for Sacramento to strike a hammer blow to Steve Kerr’s team.

Regular Season Record-
Golden State Warriors: W-12, L-7
Sacramento Kings: W-10, L-8

Players to watch out for:

Golden State Warriors:
Kevin Durant – The two-time NBA finals MVP is coming under serious pressure these days. Warriors’ recent slump is a big reason and he is expected to take them out of this hole as Curry is out as well.

The former Oklahoma City Thunder star is performing at a good level though and is averaging 27.2 points per game this season.  He should be your star player in this game.
Klay Thompson – Though he may not be as talented as his Splash brother Stephen Curry but Thompson is one piece which completes the Warriors jigsaw. The 28-year-old is scoring at 21.7 points per game.

Sacramento Kings:

Buddy Hield – Sacramento’s own king  Buddy Hield is dropping 18.7 points per game this season. Though the numbers may not be good enough to be taken as a marker to coronate him as superstar in your NBA fantasy team, he should be in your team as a supporting cast.
De’Aaron Fox The 2nd best NBA player in Sacramento is Fox who is racking up points at 18.2 per game this season.

Golden State Warriors:
Injured – For the Golden State Warriors, the injury list remains same as it was in the last game.
Stephen Curry remains absent from the matchday squad as the two-time NBA MVP is recovering from the groin injury he suffered in the match against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Meanwhile, DeMarcus Cousins, an off-season buy from New Orleans Pelicans, is still waiting for his first appearance of this season for his new team as he continues to be dragged back by an Achilles injury, he misses out as well.
Questionable – Draymond Green’s condition remains day-to-day and questionable for this game as well. The 2017 NBA defensive player of the year will be assessed ahead of this match.
Alfonzo McKinnie is also another player listed as doubtful for this game by the Dubs.
Suspended – None.

Sacramento Kings:
Injured – Kosta Koufos is still suffering from the calf injury and will be missing the action at Oracle Arena.
Questionable – None as of now.
Suspended – None.

GSW vs SAC DREAM11 Fantasy Team:

The home couldn’t give the comfort to the stuttering Warriors in the last match. Now Dubs are at Oracle Arena for the 2nd consecutive game and we are not considering the possibility of them losing two in a row in front of their own fans.
