LAC vs DETDream11: In this cross-conference battle, the Los Angeles Clippers meet the Detroit Pistons. Clippers are two games above the 50% win record. On the other hand, the Pistons have more than triple losses than wins. Clippers and Pistons are two teams with contrasting journeys and are poles apart in terms of experience.
The Clippers have a veteran core with most players past the age of 30. At guard positions, Jackson and Bledsoe have been in the league for years while Paul George is the leader in terms of scoring. Zubac has been playing well too, but largely the Clippers’ effort revolves around Paul George.
The Pistons have most of the players in their first or second years and in terms of experience, the team has been struggling. The team falls apart in the second halves usually because that is when the youth crumbles in the face of pressure. Clippers: Some big issues Los Angeles Clippers are a veteran unit but without Kawhi Leonard, the team seems to falter in the middle a lot. Clippers can go ice-cold from the field and have also lost games against certain teams that have a losing record. Why is that? Well, this unit has some issues scoring-wise with Mann being a little inconsistent and Bledsoe scoring in single-figures in most of the games. While Jackson has been playing well offensively, the team is overly dependent on two of its shot creators in PG and Jackson.
Pistons: You can’t expect many wins For Detroit, the issue of losing is aggravated due to the lack of bench depth and indiscipline caused by youth. If we talk about some games, then against Lakers and Heat the team held the fort till the first half but then fell apart in the second half. There is a reason why Detroit is struggling this much, the squad is rebuilding and lacks the veteran presence to pull through. LA Clippers | Detroit Pistons Games: 18| 18 Wins: 10| 04 Defeats: 08| 14
