Aye aye! the NBA is back but not with a full bang since these are Preseason games to prepare players for a lengthy season. Talking about a bang, what a way to start as the super star-studded Los Angeles Lakers meet a Hall-of-fame-laden Brooklyn Nets More about LAL vs BKN Dream11 will be given below.
Talking about the game itself does no service since preseason is unpredictable. Coaches try different combinations, give extended rests to star players, and treat these games as scrimmages. However, we can talk about the offseason changes both teams made.
Lakers made huge changes, acquiring Russell Westbrook thus forming a big three with Davis and LeBron. The team also acquired veteran scorer Anthony to form an extended big-four. Amidst the star-flurry, Los Angeles also signed a solid backup guard in Kendrick Nunn, who can even slide into the starting five with his talent. The signings of Rajon Rondo, Dwight Howard, Kent Bazemore, and Malik Monk put an icing on the cake as the Lakers push hard for the title this season.
Nets didn’t make any major changes and the core of the team is pretty much the same. Last season, Irving and Harden missed the bulk of major games in the Playoffs while Kevin Durant looked ominous. If the team remains healthy then Brooklyn is the favorite to make the Finals. Are we going to see these two squads in the Finals? This section is more like a season preview as all the major players for both squads will sit out the game.

Anthony Davis is a terrific option since Westbrook and James will sit this one out.
Difficult to say who is going to play a major role since the major superstars sit this one out for Brooklyn.
*averages from last season*
*Superstars from both teams except Anthony Davis will sit out the game*
LeBron’s name echoes through the most remote basketball-playing corners. He needs no introduction and his accolades are too vast to put in a short description box. James led the Lakers in scoring and rebounding last year. He is a perpetual candidate as the Super-Player in the Dream11 Fantasy basketball scenario.
Russell played for the Wizards last season and regularly came up with triple-doubles out there, leading the league. He led Washington in APG and RPG last season. Westbrook will find his new role with the Lakers and may finally get a taste of the championship.
Anthony Davis missed around half of the season this year and he will love to bounce back this season. Whenever Anthony plays, he makes the Lakers a more assertive unit in all aspects and can seize the momentum.
KD is one of the best basketball players in the league and he has shown recently why. He carried Nets to seven games in the ECSF last season and almost willed them to the ECF. Recently, he carried a major load for the USA and they wouldn’t have won the Olympics Gold without his assertiveness.
Harden is a scoring threat from everywhere and his playmaking skills give him an edge on a nightly basis. He can break down defenses, cause ruptures in a coach’s strategy, and remains one of the best players in the league.
Irving has one of the best ball-handling skills in the league. His array of behind-the-back, between-the-legs, up-and-under types of dribble moves creates a vast amount of separation. Kyrie is a knock-down shooter, equally adept at finishing around the rim, and a gifted playmaker.
