Los Angeles Lakers vs Denver Nuggets Dream11 Grand League Tips: Key Players:

Anthony Davis: Frank Vogel used him at the centre at times in this series to counter Nikola Jokic’s threat. It’s not an exaggeration to say that the former New Orleans Pelicans superstar has won his duel with the big Serbian, as Lakers are up by 3-1 in this series. Jokic has been so good, that he is being touted as the potential NBA Finals MVP winner. He is indeed a true captain option in this Dream11 Basketball fantasy basketball match.

LeBron James: The King showed his versatility once again by opting to mark the opponents’ best player in the fourth quarter. He has done it many times in his career and is doing with the same authority once again. James had another huge game as he scored 26 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists in game-3. He is a no-brainer.

Assists Per Game: 8.8
Steals Per Game: 1.3
Blocks Per Game: 1.1

Nikola Jokic: Couldn’t affect the game as much as he is capable of as he could manage only 16 points. He was also not at his usual level in terms of defence, and Nuggets can do with a prime Jokic in this seaosn-saving game-5. Jokic had 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the last match.
Points Per Game: 24.7
Rebounds Per Game: 10.0
Assists Per Game: 5.8

Jamal Murray: The best offensive player for the Nuggets in the playoffs. His stature has significantly increased after some monumental performances in the post-season. LeBron James’ decision to mark him in the fourth quarter again shows that Murray is being seen as a real threat by the Lakers. He had 32 points, 8 assists and 3 rebounds in game-4.
Points Per Game: 26.9
Rebounds Per Game: 4.9
Assists Per Game: 6.6
Steals Per Game: 0.9
Blocks Per Game: 0.3

Game Changers:

  • Kentavioius Caldwell-Pope: Hit a couple of daggers from three points range in the clutch situation in the fourth quarter. He offers real value due to his relatively low credits on Dream11.
  • Dwight Howard: Hardly used in the last series, but the Superman is in the thick of things in this series. The three-time defensive player of the year was thrown into the starting five in the last game and he made the good use of that opportunity by clocking a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
  • Rajon Rondo: The play-off Rondo is in full swing in this series. He had another superb game as he had 11 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
  • Michael Porter Jr: Nuggets’ second-best defensive player at times and a key player to come off the bench in every game.
  • Jerami Grant and Monte Morris both offer value. The duo combined for 29 points, 4 assists and 5 rebounds in the last match.

LAL vs DEN Dream11 Today Match Prediction:

LeBron James told his teammates at the end of the fourth quarter that he was marking Jamal Murray. The King knew that Murray has been a real baller in the playoffs, lifting his teams from the jaws of defeats umpteenth times this season. James’ eagerness to lock Murray down reflected on his defensive work as he didn’t give Nuggets’ superstar any space on the perimeter, not allowing other players to create screen. Nuggets’ hopes of making a last dash towards the win soon faded as Los Angeles Lakers used possession with authority while blocking a couple of shots and stealing the balls at times. Only positive for the Denver Nuggets ahead of the season-defining game is that the Nikola Jokic and Co were twice in the same position in the playoffs, down at 1-3 against both Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers, and still managed to come out as winners. Lakers know no lead is safe enough against this Nuggets team, but LeBron James hasn’t lost a series when he is 3-1 up and we think that record to stretch here and back the Showtime to win this match.
