LAL vs OKC Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Oklahoma City Thunder will be looking to get back to winning ways when they host Los Angeles Lakers in an NBA match at Chesapeake Energy Arena, in Downtown Oklahoma City, on Friday morning (IST).

Oklahoma City Thunder:
Russell Westbrook’s game-high 31 points weren’t enough as Oklahoma City Thunder lost 126-142 against Atlanta Hawks. It was Westbrook’s sixth consecutive 20+ score. Oklahoma remained 3rd in the Western Conference with a 26-17 record.

The form, however, is going south, as they have split the last 10 games, and 1-4 in the last five heading into their next game against the Lakers.

The two giants of Thunder, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook have upped their game, however. It’s the collective effort which is dragging the team down and in the opposite direction.

Thunder could take a cue from Atlanta Hawks’ performance. Riding on the team effort, they produced one of their best wins of the season. Seven players scored in the double digits for Hawks, including all five starters, while three ended up dropping 20+ scores. John Collins (26 points), Trae Young (24 points and 11 assists) and Alex Lens (24 points and 11 rebounds) all contributed significantly as Hawks won 2nd time in the last five games.

For Oklahoma, the usual suspects came good as George had 24 points and 8 rebounds while Russell Westbrook scored 31 points and 11 rebounds in the match.

Los Angeles Lakers played the last two games against the teams currently struggling for form this season. Cleveland Cavaliers went through their history pages and ripped Lakers apart, beating them 101-95 in their own backyard.

But the Showtime managed to save faces in the last match as they came good against Chicago Bulls. It was a low scoring match but the performance was fuelled by the defensive work of Lakers.

Regular Season Record-
Oklahoma City Thunder:
W-26, L-17
Los Angeles Lakers:
W-24, L-21

Players to watch out for:

Oklahoma City Thunder:
Paul George –
The former Indiana Pacers star is having one of his personal best seasons, dropping points at an incredible rate. The 28-year-old is averaging 26.6 points per game this season, which is by far his best numbers. Thunder are flying high in the table this season and much of the credit goes to this man. Westbrook struggled horrendously and it was him which dug the team out of the hole on many occasions.
Russell Westbrook – The 2017 NBA MVP seems to be getting back to his best. His sudden drop in quality is a puzzle which may not have an answer, but it was always a warning sign for other teams that Thunder were winning matches despite their best player hitting his top form. And now it looks like he is reaching towards his perch. In the last 10 games, the 30-year-old has dropped points at 25.2 points per game. A Good Omen for Thunder.

Los Angeles Lakers:
Kyle Kuzma –
Lakers may have struggled big time in LeBron James’ absence, but Kyle Kuzma raised his game by a few notches in that period. He is dropping 18.7 points per game.
Brandon Ingram –
The other player who has impressed in that period is Brandon Ingram. The 21-year-old young prodigy is averaging 16.4 points per game, while he has dropped points at 18.1 in the last 10 games or so.
