LAL vs ORL Dream11: NBA’s landscape is ever-shifting and a team can go on a big losing or winning streak anytime. With COVID-19 still hovering and the injuries being in full swing, a lot of campaign takes multiple hits. In this game, an injury-riddled Orlando Magic meets the underperforming Los Angeles Lakers. Magic has four times more losses than wins and the Lakers are just a game above the 50% win mark.
Magic’s struggles are understandable. With their main players still around their young 20s, there is inexperience and multiple frailties. Plus, the squad has been without a ton of players since the beginning of the season and Magic’s season is more about a development window than a deep Playoff run.
Lakers’ up-and-down is not understandable though. When you have three superstars surrounded by more than reliable shooters then you should win more games. For Lakers, anything less than a championship will disappoint their fans, but right now, they are barely a Playoffs time. Lakers: They need a winning streak With a team like the Lakers, expecting a five-game win streak would not be a surprise before the season began. However, that has not been the case at all so deep into the season and the team has followed a strange pattern: win, loss, win, win, loss… This is frustrating because even with two among the Westbrook, James, and Davis with full health should have notched a record like 16-9 or something so far. The Lakers need a spark more than a trade. The roster is stacked, the system may need to change!
Magic: Promising To be honest, even if they have been terrible in terms of the record, Orlando is brewing something special. With Wagner, Carter Jr., and Bamba in the frontcourt, the team can lay a foundation for a long-term fort as these three have shown a ton of promise. Cole Anthony can become a high-quality 25+ PPG and 7+ APG guard and he has been on point with his own performances. The Orlando Magic may not even win 20 games this season but the team has better pieces than a squad like Pistons(in my opinion).
