How both the teams fared in the Group so far?

Lithuania:

In arguably the group of death, Lithuania have come unscatched from their first two games. Though, Senegal are hardly anywhere near the level of Australia, while Canada have come to China with their 2nd roster, well almost.

Still, Lithuania’s incredible 47-101 win over Senegal should be an indicator of this team’s prowesses. While the 92-69 win was more or less the tactical masterclass from Jonas Kazlauskas, who didn’t let Canada any space on the arc.

Australia:

The Boomers’ biggest match so far in China came against Canada. For the most part of the game, the North American nation managed to keep the World No-11 within touching distance. In fact, Nick Fury’s men had a one-point lead going into the fourth quarter and had the momentum as well.

But Australia’s roster had too much quality for Canada. It proved as Andrew Bogut and teammates ran riot in the penultimate quarter, winning both, the 4th quarter and the match 32-15 and 108-92 respectively.

While against Senegal, it was all about finishing the job. Andrej Lemanis’s men won the game 81-68 despite not hitting their strides.
