MEM vs GSW Dream11: Some games have that wonderful feeling and also potential playoff scenarios jump up. See, no matter what people say about the Regular Season, can you win the championship without having a high rank during the regular season play! No, you can’t, look at the history of the games, the top two ranked sides on the Either Conference end up winning the title more than 90% of the time, that is a hard set rule. That is why each team play 82 games, there is a reason behind a long season, for an NBA writer who does lineup predictions and analysis, each game has value no matter who is playing who.

And here we are, with two teams who have set the Regular Season on fire, the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies. Warriors have an incredible 30 wins and just 9 losses plus they have their superstar Guard Thompson back. On the other hand, the Grizzlies have won nine in a row and they have 28 wins and 14 losses record. Doesn’t this make for a mouth-watering match-up?

The Warriors and the Grizzlies last time met on the home floor of the Warriors and that game was an exciting one too. The Warriors pulled away late and won 113:104 but the game remained closer than the scoreline suggests. It was after that game that the Grizzlies started their streak and are seated at nine wins in a row. Memphis has enjoyed a better period in terms of winning these days as the Warriors had lost two out of the last three but the win against the Cavaliers was so terrific that the team looked that it is back in the groove.

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis

Too many selections, too many highly talented players
In terms of fantasy value, this game features so many options that one can have a hard time selecting options. Yes, of course with Curry, there is a potential for a 30+ night, but Morant and Bane can do the same as well. Jaren Jackson will have an edge in the big Forward position with Draymond Green resting for this game but don’t underestimate Kevon Looney, and that is why to match up against Kevon and keep him busy, the Grizzlies will hope that Steven Adams who is questionable for the game, plays in the contest. Overall, the Grizzlies have a lot of ammo in the toolkit but the bench of Warriors now contains starting-level players who can hustle up and down the floor at full steam.

Now, the match-up between Stephen Curry and Ja Morant is obviously an interesting one but consider this, the wing position is loaded for both teams. For the Warriors, there is Wiggins, Porter Jr., and Iguodala, all three of them high-quality defenders and with Wiggins a primetime scorer, Porter a spot-up shooter, and Iguodala a top-notch playmaker. The match-up against Brandon Clarke, Kyle Anderson, and John Konchar, with Clarke being an athletic scorer, Anderson being an all-around presence. The guard depth is incredible for both teams with Curry, Thompson, Payton II, and Poole matching up against Morant, Bane, Jones, and Melton, with perhaps the Warriors having a slight edge.

Memphis grizzlies vs golden state warriors Prediction

I think without Green, the Warriors are not that fluid but then again with Klay back, the team has more liberty to shoot from outside. Warriors are a defensive-minded team that can be physical and both make opponents miss shots and commit turnovers, they are definitely having an edge over even an improved Grizzlies defense. However, Memphis has been way better than Warriors on offense so this can prove decisive here. Still, I see this game being a close one. I think the Warriors will nab a win here and will have their best offensive outing in a while, they are badly due one.
