MIA vs IND Dream11: COVID-19 has had a deflating effect all over the world and the NBA world has also been once again disrupted by its ominous tunes. Still, the league keeps going on and looking for ways to field games. In this game, the Miami Heat host the Indiana Pacers. Heat has 18 wins and 13 losses and the Pacers have an opposite record with 13 wins and 18 losses.
Heat has done a decent job without Butler and Adebayo as the off-season acquisition of Kyle Lowry has paid dividends. Miami is a deep team with a host of scorers and their depth looks better than last season on multiple fronts.
Pacers have not done well this season which is a surprise for me. The team has an array of isolation scorers, playmakers, and the team is solidly built from the Point Guard to the Center spot. Still, there is time to correct the record but there are rumors of some trades to be made soon
Host: Miami Heat
Visitors: Indiana Pacers
Match Timing: 22 December, @ 06:00 AM
Venue: FTX Arena
Heat: They are deep
Heat has won half of its ten games ever since Adebayo and Butler both went down. This is not a terrible performance considering that they have beaten the Giannis-led Bucks and the Pacers as well. In the stead of their top two players, Lowry has raised his game, producing 16-22 points and 10-15 assists, while role players such as Max Strus, Gabe Vincent, Dewayne Dedmon, and PJ Tucker all increased their scoring output too. With Adebayo out, Omer Yurtseven has gotten some deep minutes too and he is making the most out of it for sure.
Pacers: Treading in difficult waters
Indiana has seen all its regular starters average in the excess of 12 points. With Sabonis, you get all-around skills, Turner provides shot-blocking, scoring, and rebounding, Brogdon is an all-around talent too, rookie Duarte has shown his scoring chops while Caris LeVert has scored 25 or more every now and then. Off the bench, Jeremy Lamb, Oshae Brissett, and Justin Holiday are all capable shooters, which implies that this team has considerable options. Still, their inability to close out games and give away advantages repeatedly can result in some players being traded. I have had high hopes from this team since last season but they keep on losing games that they should win.
