MIA vs TOR Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Miami Heat will be looking to keep their playoff hopes alive when they play high-flying Toronto Raptors in the regular season NBA match at Scotiabank Arena, in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on Sunday morning (IST).

Toronto Raptors will be hoping that they don’t have to face Jeremy Lamb in the post-season. After all, it was his heroics which condemned the 2nd placed Eastern Conference team to a defeat at Spectrum Center.

With less than 5 seconds to go, Raptors had a one-point lead and looked to head towards the victory. But Lamb had other ideas as he buried a three-pointer to snatch a 113-111 win for the playoff-chasing Hornets.

With the win, Charlotte moved to 37-42 in the season but they still sit outside the playoff positions, two games behind 8th placed Detroit Pistons.

For Raptors, it was all about the hunger and the aggression on the court. They are guaranteed a 2nd place on the table, and that could be the reason for their sub-par performance in Charlotte.

“Give them credit, those guys are making plays and they’re playing for their playoff lives and you can see it in their energy and enthusiasm they have,” Raptors guard Fred VanVleet said after the match.

Miami Heat, meanwhile, continues to lose a game at a time when they could really use some wins under their belt. The 111-109 loss against Minnesota Timberwolves was their 3rd straight negative result, leaving them on the brink of elimination from the playoffs contention.

It’s still not clear whether Heat will be in the playoffs or not, but the legendary Dwyane Wade is still giving his all in his last season as a professional NBA player.

The 3-time NBA champion dropped a magnificent 21 of his 24 match points in the first half alone.

Regular Season Record-
Toronto Raptors:
W-56, L-24
Miami Heat:
W-38, L-41

Players to watch out for:

Toronto Raptors:
Kawhi Leonard –
He is the main reason why Toronto Raptors are being hailed as a genuine threat in the playoffs. The 2014 NBA finals MVP is doing almost everything on the court. Not only he is averaging a team-high 26.8 points per game but is registering almost 2 steals per game, along with 0.5 blocks per game. A two-way player!

Pascal Siakam – Having a talent as good as Leonard on the roster can certainly help other players to raise their game, and it indeed looks the case with Pascal Siakam. The 25-year-old power forward is scoring at a career-high 17 points per game this season.

Miami Heat:
Dwyane Wade –
An era will be ending as soon as this season ends. for Dwyane Wade is set to retire at the end of this campaign. But his numbers are pretty good, and it doesn’t look like that he is a player who is past his best. The 37-year-old is averaging 17.5 points per game in the last 10 matches.

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:

Toronto Raptors are at home for this match and they possess one of the best home records this season. They have lost just 9 times at Scotiabank Arena, winning 31 times.
Meanwhile, surprisingly Miami Heat have a positive record in away games at 20-19 coming into this match. Also, they are chasing the playoffs, so could be more hungry for the positive results.
