MIL vs BOS Dream11: The NBA Regular Season will finish in a few days and still, there is unclarity over some of the rankings. In the East, the Heat is most likely going to finish at the top with 52 wins and has regained the rhythm after a sub-par play. And the second to fourth rank race between the Bucks, Celtics, and the 76ers have been in full heat but at this point, the Bucks and Celtics looked locked in for at least a top-three finish but the 76ers are not far enough. In this interesting match-up, the Milwaukee Bucks will host the Boston Celtics.

The Bucks are the defending champions but their road to the championship this time around looks much tougher, especially with the emergence of the Heat and Celtics, which can pose a ton of challenges. However, with Giannis in their back pocket, they will fancy themselves for at least a Finals run.

On the other hand, the Celtics are the most elite defensive team in the league and their ball movement has been much stronger than in the first half of the season. The team isn’t losing anymore even when Tatum has been off, and it means that the scoring balance is much better.

These two teams can end up meeting in the Second Round in the Playoffs at this point so this can be an East Semis preview barring an upset in the first round to either team or an increase in ranking for the 76ers. Also, will the Celtics rest their key players considering they played last night versus the Bulls? Let us see!

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis

The Bucks steamrolled the Bulls 127:106 as Center Brook Lopez put on a show with 28 points.

The Bucks have one of the best if not the best frontline in the league. Giannis can chip away big-time points, grab boards, dish assists, play elite defense and opens up the lanes for other players. However, the team couldn’t have won a championship without Jrue Holiday who was acquired last season. The Guard brings a calm presence as the primary ball-handler and his ability to navigate both ends is huge for the Bucks’ cause. And when you put him in a team with a frontline of Giannis, Khris, Lopez, and Portis, things are going to be sunshine.

If we talk about the frontline again, Khris is a big-game player and he shoots up to another level during the Playoffs. Brook Lopez in tandem with Jrue Holiday, provides terrific help defense and that is a terrific defensive duo. On the other hand, the off-guard position has Matthews, Connaughton, and Allen with Allen being more consistent offensively while all three of them capable defenders too. The Bucks are primed for a deep playoff run and they have an extraordinary depth to offer.

The Celtics shut down the Bulls in the last game and won 117:94 as Jaylen Brown collected 25 points.

Jaylen Brown’s health issues complicated matters in the first half of the season for the Celtics. And his availability has played a huge role in the Celtics’ immense turnaround. Earlier when Tatum was hitting cold spells, the Celtics didn’t stand a chance despite playing hard-nosed defense but ever since Brown has been in the picture, he has been taking charge of the offensive end and the team’s ball movement has also improved significantly. But make no mistake, the form of Tatum will still be huge during the Postseason.

The Celtics are the best defensive unit in the league right now, of course having a defender and hustler like Marcus Smart helps, who is cementing himself as one of the best perimeter defenders to play in the league. Al Horford’s presence has helped overcome the absence of Robert Williams III as Al’s willingness to play defense from multiple areas at his size helps during closeouts and also inside defense. Brown and Tatum are incredible defenders too, while Daniel Theis has the experience of playing with these guys. Derrick White has given defensive depth and also offensive production while Grant Williams and Payton Pritchard round off a solid and imposing rotation.
