NOP vs SAS Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Pelicans both will be looking to get back to winning ways when they meet in an NBA action at Smoothie King Center, in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Sunday morning (IST).

Russell Westbrook is travelling on his own path this season. he may have endured one of the most difficult seasons of his professional career but still, the 2017 NBA MVP is creating some records along the way.

The Thunder star dropped another triple-double against Pelicans and doing so in his personal record time. The 29-year-old scored 23 points, 16 assists and 17 rebounds in the match. while his teammate Paul Geroge ended up with 23 points, 7 assists and 11 rebounds in the match.

This was Pelicans’ second consecutive loss and 15th on the road this season. with a 22-27 record on the season, the New Orleans are still outside the playoff positions as things stand in the Western Conference.

San Antonio Spurs, on the other hand, are stumbling to get the desired results in the last two weeks or so. They have certainly lost a bit of momentum after losing yet another game, this time it came against Philadelphia 76ers, a 120-122 loss at Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia.

Regular Season Record-
New Orleans Pelicans:
W-22, L-27
San Antonio Spurs:
W-27, L-22

Players to watch out for:

New Orleans Pelicans:
Jrue Holiday –
Had a good game in the absence of two of his best teammates. The 28-year-old scored 22 points, which is round about his season average. If you look at his career numbers then this is the best season he has ever had in his 9 years of playing career. Clearly a player in form and who can make a difference on any given day.
Julius Randle – He was missed dearly as Pelicans struggled to cope with Paul George and Russell Westbrook inside the pain. The 24-year-old really does an incredible job on the opponents’ offensive players, and if he plays here, Spurs could find themselves striving to create spaces.

San Antonio Spurs:
DeMar DeRozan –
The player with the most career points for Toronto Raptors, is certainly struggling to touch the heights he was so used to with his former team. But there’s no doubt that the 29-year-old is too talented to not to get out of his purple patch. Still, the 6’7” small guard is racking up the most points for Spurs this season, 21.5 points per game.
LaMarcus Aldridge – If Spurs have survived the DeRozan’s inconsistency and dip in form to some extent, then for good reasons, it’s because of the incredible form of LaMarcus Aldridge. The former Portland Trail Blazers Center hsas scored points at 23.3 per game in his last 10 matches. No wonder his season average is spooning towards 20 point mark.

NOP vs SAS Dream11 Fantasy Team:

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Anthony Davis is a cog which makes the team tick and forces his teammates to raise their game. But sadly he is out of this match which is a blow for them.
For Santonio Spurs, it’s a chance to get back to winning ways and they couldn’e have hoped for the better settings as the opponents are certainly shorthanded in the absence of their biggest star.
A win for Spurs is our call.
