Alec Burks NYK vs BKN Dream11

NYK vs BKN Dream11: NBA All-Star Break is knocking on the door and the fierce push towards the postseason will be exciting after the resumption. Some squads have lost the way since January while others have been going on big runs recently. The Play-in tournament adds spice to the team and if you don’t secure a top-six spot in your conference, that tournament can be a tricky window. And the New York Knicks will be facing Brooklyn Nets as the Play-in window becomes elusive with each day.

The Knicks have had a tough season and the trade deadline didn’t bring any major changes as the team continues to face constant troubles. They have eight more losses than wins, and they keep on losing games on a regular basis. They have lost six out of their last seven games and their offense has been among the most wayward ones this season.

While the Nets remain in Play-in contention, they have been extremely short-handed for most parts. The team traded away Harden to get Ben Simmons, and Ben hasn’t still set a timeline to play as he has missed all of the season and will need to go through workouts. Kyrie will not play in the next four games and well, with Durant out, they will have troubles.

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis

Knicks: Broken season
The Knicks have been unable to go on winning streaks and I believe unless you at least go on a couple of five+ game winning streaks, the race to catch up for a 50%-55% mark will only become more troublesome. They have had a couple of three-game winning streaks but they keep on faltering at crucial junctures and since mid-January, they have lost more than 80% of their games. This means that they are now on the fringes of the rankings and well, with the way Hawks and Hornets have played this season, there can be some struggle catching up to them. The Knicks need a dramatic turnaround to the season at this point.

Julius Randle has been doing a great job of pushing the ball, scoring inside, and also clasp rebounds but he has not played well at home recently and this is surely a matter of concern(All the boos from the home crowd can be a reason). RJ Barrett has been sidelined but Evan Fournier has done well recently. Mitchell Robinson has been doing a great job on defense and rebounding end. The bench has not been performing well at all and the Point Guard position has certainly been compromised. Quickley and Burks have really shot poorly.

Nets: From top to the eighth position
The Nets have lost the plot since Kevin Durant has gone down. James Harden didn’t fit into this system and well, we see what happened there. Kyrie Irving has been doing a great job offensively but he is a part-timer(the whole vaccine saga) and will miss the next four games. On the other hand, Patty Mills has hit the cold shooting streak at the worst time possible for this squad. The Center position can be solidified with Andre Drummond as a terrific rebounder but a lack of playmaker right now can hurt his production. LaMarcus Aldridge has been having a great season but he has been injured way too much.

Rookie Cam Thomas has been doing a great job as a scorer but yes, this hasn’t been enough. But let us talk about someone who can make a difference; Seth Curry. Curry has been hurt too but he can be an effective scorer and playmaker while being a decent defender as well. Kessler Edwards can be a terrific defender but his offense has been hurt. Overall, the Nets are running out of options at this point and unless the current unit identifies some premier options, they can end up losing their next few games and keep falling away.

Julius Randle(NYK)
Points: 30
Rebounds: 13

Julius may have some troubles with turnovers but he has picked up his offensive game while being a brilliant rebounder and playmaker. Randle has been in the 25+ points, 10+ rebounds, and 5+ assists range. The big Forward can be selected as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Fantasy scenario.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 47-62

Seth Curry (BKN)
Points: 23
Rebounds: 07
Assists: 05
Newly acquired Seth has straightaway impacted the game and has done a great job as a scorer and playmaker for the Nets. However, he has only played one game so far but I expect a similar range with Kyrie out.

NYK vs BKN Dream11 LINEUP BALANCERS

  • Andre Drummond(BKN) compiled 11 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 block in the last game. Drummond can receive a ton of minutes in the depleted Nets roster. He can be expected to be in 9-14 points and 9-14 rebounds range.
  • Cam Thomas(BKN) had 14 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists in the last game. Rookie Cam has been having a terrific season scoring 17 or more and has grabbed 4-5 rebounds a game.
  • Alec Burks(NYK) had 11 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks in the last game. Alec has been inefficient for the most parts and the above range has been his usual production.
  • Kemba Walker(NYK) had 9 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 steal in the last game. This season has been a struggle for the guard as he has mostly been in 7-9 points and dishes around 5 assists a game.
  • Patty Mills(BKN) had 8 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds in the last game. Mills has hit a cold streak recently but I believe he will be figuring in the 10-15 points range at least.
  • Quinten Grimes(NYK) had 19 points, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 steal in the last game. He has scored 19-20 in two games straight while grabbing 4 rebounds or so consistently. Can he keep this up?
