NYK vs GSW Dream11: COVID-19 is surging in the USA right now and we have already seen a couple of Bulls games canceled, hopefully, that is not the precedent heading into the Christmas/New Year. In this game, a struggling New York Knicks team takes on the Golden State Warriors. Knicks have lost their last three games and have lost six out of their last seven while the Warriors have the second-best record with 20+ wins and just 5 losses.
New York has not had a great season after stringing together Fournier and Walker with RJ Barrett during the offseason. Kemba has all but left the scene, Fournier hasn’t scored as expected while RJ Barrett has been highly inconsistent. Julius Randle has underwhelmed as well and with the way things are going, they can see a coaching change or some trades.
Warriors have been on fire throughout the season but the fatigue of playing a long season seems to be showing recently as the team which was known to put away games before the fourth quarter has struggled to pull through or create huge separations. Is exhaustion catching up to the Warriors now?
Host: New York Knicks
Visitors: Golden State Warriors
Match Timing: 15 December, @ 05:30 AM
Venue: Madison Square Garden
Knicks: No rhythm since the start
New York has not gone on a big winning streak since the start of the season, the squad has always looked a sub-50% win unit this season. See, when all of your starters have been cold from the field all season long, the current results are not surprising at all. Last season, the Knicks were an elite defensive team, this season they have had no such identity. Alarm bells are ringing for New York and it is certain the team looks far from convincing. New York may make some personnel changes because this offensive system isn’t suiting this team it seems.
Warriors: Tired legs?
For a team that had won 90% of its game till the end of November, losing half of the games in a 12-15 days period is surely an unchartered territory. But that is what a long NBA season means, your rhythm can break at some point. The Warriors use a ton of energy on the defensive end and their exhaustion can be understood since most of the players in the current framework have missed a few games and are faced with a rigorous task. Is the situation alarming? Not really.

Warriors Expected Starting Five
Wings/Forwards: PF: Draymond Green SF: Andrew Wiggins
Middle: C: Kevon Looney
Guards: SG: Jordan Poole, PG: Stephen Curry
BENCH: Jonathan Kuminga, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Gary Payton II, Moses Moody, Otto Porter Jr., Nemanja Belica, Damion Lee.
Even though Stephen Curry’s three-point efficiency is down a little these days, he is still a key player for the Warriors late in the game as his two vital shots during the last minutes against Indiana in the Warriors win displayed. He is firing in the 21-26 points range these days.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 40-50
Randle’s shooting has been off for a few weeks now and he has struggled to mount up a substantial attack on the oppositions. While his scoring has been wayward, he has been compiling 7-10 rebounds and assists on the regular. He is an option for Star/Pro Player in the Dream11 NBA scenario.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 39-52
Green is the most versatile player in the Warriors roster and his tenacious attitude is reflected in the team’s overall approach. Expect 7-10 points, 7-10 rebounds, and 5-9 assists consistently from the big.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 26-41
Rose has been brilliant as an off-the-bench scorer for the Knicks. With RJ out, you can expect 15-19 points and 5-8 assists in this game for Derrick.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 28-42
Andrew is a two-way player for Golden State whose impact is felt game in and game out. He has scored in the 15-22 points range throughout the season and his defense is key at the wing.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 27-38
Quinten Grimes(NYK )
Grimes had a big game for someone who doesn’t play many minutes. I doubt if he will score 27 again but who knows if he has found his touch and is hungry to seize a regular role?
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 15-35
