NYL vs DAL Dream11: The WNBA has been in full swing and we are blessed to have this league going(At least I am). The league is different than the NBA in more ways that one can count, but one thing remains the same, you gotta make your shots and you gotta defend them, plain and simple. Keeping that in mind, let us jump into the game between the New York Liberty and the Dallas Wings.
The Liberty comes into this game after a heatbreaking 86:92 loss to the Fever in the last game even after Sabrina Ionescu’s terrific 31 points night as the team’s defense crumbled for the second game in a row. On the other hand, the Dallas Wings notched their first win in a terrific 94:86 victory versus the Washington Mystics as Arike Ogunbowale nailed 27 points. Can the Wings make it two in a row?
Host: New York Liberty
Visitors: Dallas Wings
Match Timing: 15 May, @ 11:30 PM (+05:30 UTC)
Venue: Barclays Center
Two streaky teams
Arike Ogunbowale has showcased two different games. In the first, she shot below 25% but in the second game, she caught fire and made half of the 12 three-pointers. For the Liberty, it has been Sabrina Ionescu who has been the transformative presence, clinching two big nights in three games and her production will be needed for the Liberty to become at least a 50% win team in this league. So yes, both teams have two streak shooters at the helm.
In terms of supporting cast, the Wings seem to have more shot creators as Allisha Gray and Marina Mabrey are both effective guards alongside Arike while Thornton and Harrison provide versatility. For the Liberty, apart from Ionescu, the Guard rotations are iffy in terms of offense and Jocelyn Willoughby may not be the answer in that regard. Natasha Howard has been inefficient for Liberty as well while Stefanie Dolson isn’t the ace type offensive player. That is why Liberty’s Laney will need to shoot better.

Ionescu clicked on 11 of her 20 shots in the last game and she is the heartbeat of the Liberty’s offense, both as a scorer and playmaker. I believe she will be in 20+ points and 4+ assists range. She can be selected as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Fantasy scenario.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 29-41
Arike Ogunbowale(DAL)
Points: 27
Rebounds: 04

Natasha made just one of her 15 shots in the last game in what was a horrible outing for her, but she gives tremendous rebounding and defense. I expect a 12-18 points and 7-11 rebounds range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 26-40
Allisha Gray(DAL)
Points: 21

Expected Fantasy Points Range: 23-35
Betnijah Laney(NYL)
Points: 16
Rebounds: 07
