OKC vs NYK Dream11: As COVID-19 continues to be a pesky presence, we have seen multiple games being postponed and most teams have kissed goodbye to squad balance. What is then there to do? Just grinding out as many games as possible seems to be a priority but how long will it last?
In this game, the New York Knicks take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in an East-West tussle. The Knicks have won their last few games but still sit with 17 wins and 18 losses record, meanwhile, the Thunder has lost one of their key players in Josh Giddey to COVID-19 but with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander struggling with an injury, the team balance is lost and a makeshift unit has to now hold the fort.
Host: Oklahoma City Thunder
Visitors: New York Knicks
Match Timing: 1 January, @ 06:30 AM
Venue: Chesapeake Energy Arena
Thunder: Dort needs to do more
Luguentz Dort has been struggling recently, shooting below 40% each game for a long time now. He has lost his old offensive form, which was in full flow earlier in month. With Gilgeous-Alexander questionable for the game, Dort can’t afford to go three out of 18 from the field once again as he did against the Suns. Even if Ty Jerome and Aaron Wiggins have shown their impressive offensive games, Dort is the key especially if Shai is not playing. The Thunder are a team not that robust at the big Forward and Center position, so the wing’s job becomes important.
Knicks: They need more shooting cohesion
New York has been playing some underwhelming basketball all season long. The squad has not shot well, multiple players’ scoring averages are becoming thinner with each game and despite a guard-heavy unit, the perimeter shooting has suffered. It seems like the early season approach of shooting a ton of threes has failed as the shooting percentage has been abysmal. Therefore, NY Knicks need someone to put aside the shooting woes and take care of business. RJ Barrett has really struggled to shoot well, Julius Randle has been too up-and-down, Alec Burks is sunshine and dark clouds from one day to another while Kemba Walker’s offensive game has been out of sync since the beginning of the season.

Luguentz Dort(OKC )
Dort has been struggling shooting-wise these days, he has shot around 30% or so only in the last few games and his scoring range has been hit due to that.
Aaron Wiggins(OKC )
Aaron has been in great touch lately and his scoring has been multiplied recently. He has scored 22 or more in two of three last games, making key buckets.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 30-38
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander(OKC) has scored in the 27-33 points range recently while increasing his assists range from 3-5 to 7-12. He is questionable for the game against the Knicks. He is an option for Star/Pro Player in the Dream11 NBA scenario.
Ty Jerome(OKC )
Ty had one of his best performances in the last game, clicking on nine of his 22 shots. Jerome can be huge here if Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ends up missing this game since he will be among the few viable offensive options.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 26-41
RJ has had his fair share of shooting struggles and he is among the long line of Knicks players who are not shooting well this season. Can Barrett get back his rhythm before the Knicks campaign take a further hit?
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 36-57
Alec Burks(NYK )
Alec has been up-and-down like the rest of the Knicks players this season but his last game’s performance of 34 points shows that he can go for a big night every now and then. Still, will it be another 30+ and sub -10 type of performance as a follow-up which has been a theme for him this season?
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 20-38
