PHX vs DAL Dream11: Western Conference has seen a lot of bloom in terms of depth and basketball talent. In this inter-conference battle, Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns clash against each other. Suns are on a nine-game winning streak while Dallas has double wins than losses. Can the Suns keep the train ticking with no Doncic in the picture?
Phoenix Suns have done an incredible job of fending teams but the team has also played teams with wins under 50%, but still, their run is admirable. Devin Booker has been on fire offensively while CP-3 continues to pass over dazzling dimes. Ayton provides reliable output in the middle while Bridges and Crowder are amazing defensive players who can also score.
Luka Doncic has received tremendous help for Porzingis recently and has continued to dominate defenses. Tim Hardaway and Jalen Brunson have given consistent offense and with Doncic out both of them will have to play a big role. Dorian Finney-Smith and Dwight Powell are entrusted with defensive duties while the rest of the unit is arguably a little thin Host: Phoenix Suns Visitors: Dallas Mavericks Match Timing: 18 November, @ 08:30 AM Venue: Footprint Center
Mavericks: Grinding out wins Doncic is the steam engine of this unit, and in his absence, a lot will be required from other players like Kristaps, Hardaway, and Brunson. The team hangs its hat on defense, limiting opponents around 105 points per game usually while the offense is a problem since there is a lack of depth. It will be interesting to see if the obvious lack of a deep bench will hurt them in long run.
Suns: Looking dominating so far The Suns are a prolific squad on both ends of the floor. They have no problem scoring at a high clip and put together around 110-120 points on a regular basis. What makes them difficult to stop is the presence of intelligent perimeter defense and a packed paint with Ayton at the helm. The Suns’ team reached Finals last season and will look to recapture that spot again in the loaded West. Phoenix Suns | Dallas Mavericks Games: 13| 13 Wins: 10| 09 Defeats: 03| 04
