Ja Morant Deandre Ayton PHX vs MEM Dream11

PHX vs MEM Dream11: The COVID-19 irritation just doesn’t go away and at this point, the NBA players have been pushed to their very limits. Still, the athletes keep fighting their way through the pandemic as the Phoenix Suns host the Memphis Grizzlies. Phoenix is going to be without Jae Crowder and Cameron Payne in this game while the Grizzlies recently got back Ja Morant.

Suns are the second-best team in the league record-wise, winning 26 games and losing just six, they have a lot of depth even with Payne and Crowder out. The Grizzlies have 20 wins and 14 losses as their scoring options have become more reliable over the season. Can the deep Suns team counter the scoring threat of the Grizzlies?

Host: Phoenix Suns
Visitors: Memphis Grizzlies
Match Timing: 28 December, @ 07:30 AM
Venue: Footprint Center

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis

Match-ups
The Point Guard match-up between Ja Morant and Chris Paul is the highlight for me, both are superb playmakers and Paul has picked up his scoring as the month has progressed while Morant averages between 24-25. On the other hand, with Crowder gone, Cameron Johnson is most likely going to find a place as a starter to continue the two-wing combination and he is no less talented than Crowder. Meanwhile, the Center match-up between Steven Adams and Deandre Ayton can be a physical one where Jaren Jackson Jr. will need to help out Adams. The Grizzlies tandem of Bane, Jackson, and Morant can disrupt the rhythm of the Suns big time.

In terms of the bench, the Suns have lost a bit of depth with Payne and Crowder went, which can disturb the balance. The Grizzlies bench is no less impressive than the Suns’ and the Forward heavy bench can pull through. Match-up advantages as per my assessments:

Guards: Suns: 46% Grizzlies: 54%
Wings: 50% each
Big-ForwardGrizzlies: 61% Suns: 39%
Center: C:  Suns: 70% Grizzlies: 30%
Bench: Grizzlies 58% Suns: 42%
Overall: Suns: 53% Grizzlies 47%
