The Suns need more

The Suns showbelow 30% shooting from the three-point line in the last game and got outrebounded 48:39. Overall, they did shoot a remarkable 50% but they lost the game on the Free-Throw line as the Pelicans shot 42 of them and made 32 while Suns shot just 10 out of 15 attempts. The Suns started strong but a 23: 35 third quarter quashed their chances.

On the other hand, the Pelicans nabbed 19 offensive rebounds as Jonas Valanciunas recovered after some so-so outings. Herbert Jones posed problems for Mikal Bridges, who was held below 10 points mark while Chris Paul was also held below 5 points. The Pelicans defense has been impressive since the second half of the season.

The Suns have had no answer for Ingram who keeps on marching ahead and taking the game away from them. Ayton has been solid for them but the lack of production from Bridges can hurt them in the absence of Devin Booker.
