POR vs PHI Dream11: Two teams with lofty ambitions clash in this heated encounter. In this game, Eastern Conference outfit Philadelphia 76ers continue their long road trip as they visit the West’s Portland Trailblazers. Portland has won half of their 16 games while Philly won against Nuggets after a five-game losing streak.
The 76ers are missing Joel Embiid right now and are 1-5 ever since he got in COVID-19 protocols. Still, with Harris, Maxey, and Curry, the team has three scoring options who can put up around 20 regularly. The bench is up-and-down but Shake Milton has done an admirable job of providing offense while Georges Niang has been decent as well.
Trailblazers eked out a late-game win versus Chicago in the last game and we saw the best of Damian Lillard in the Fourth Quarter. Portland has had issues closing out games with both their guards in Damian and CJ McCollum struggling to be efficient. However, it doesn’t mean that the loaded backcourt can be taken lightly. Can the win against a tough Chicago team spark something special?
Host: Portland Trailblazers Visitors: Philadelphia 76ers Match Timing: 21 November, @ 07:30 AM Venue: Moda Center
Trailblazers: Same old, same old so far Portland has been an average squad for some seasons and just like last year, their defense has the tendency to give away major points. The game against Chicago can be a template though as the team saw immense contributions from Larry Nance Jr. off the bench. Trailblazers are a well-built team but it is just that they are unable to stitch together some major performances consistently. Can the team address that issue? Philly: Embiid is the soul of this squad Without Embiid the squad struggles on both ends of the floor. Prior to the game against Nuggets, who they limited under 100, the team leaked 115-120 points in most of the games. Tyrese Maxey has done a superb job of filling the void left by the absence of Simmons while Curry sorted out his shooting woes against Denver. The bench is running thin right now but Charles Bassey had a strong game versus the Nuggets too. Can 76ers eke out a win or two before Joel returns?
