SAS vs DEN Dream11: Lineup predictions can become tricky with each step that the season takes forward. Why so? Well, simply said, a lot of injuries and a COVID-19 environment can fuel a long list of absentees. In this game, the Denver Nuggets, who are one of the teams without its two main players face a young and offensively charged Spurs squad. The Spurs have had a losing record(under 50% wins) while Nuggets have won half of their 24 games.
Spurs have played some inspirational basketball this season and have done a great job at running their offensive sets. San Antonio has two superb playmakers at guard positions, another great passer in the middle surrounded by a bunch of talented perimeter shooters. Their season can be gauged as a developmental one.
Denver Nuggets started the season with nine wins and four losses. What happened then? First, an injury to Michael Porter Jr. weakened the defensive end, and then Nikola Jokic was absent for a week or so where the Nuggets lost all of its game. Denver season is hanging by a thread as the injury cloud has engulfed a number of players. Can they bounce back?
Host: San Antonio Spurs Visitors: Denver Nuggets Match Timing: 10 December, @ 07:00 AM Venue: AT & T Center
Spurs: They have a lot of young players With Murray at point guard, Spurs get an all-around production and a fluid offense as he can dish off 8-12 assists regularly. Derrick White has upped his scoring recently and you can expect him to patch up a great offensive game both shooting and playmaking-wise. McDermott and Keldon as Forwards provide stable scoring while Poeltl has also developed an all-around game at Center. With bench players and guards like Lonnie Walker IV, Bryn Forbes, and Devin Vassell, shooting is surely not in short supply for the young bunch. Just some defensive discipline can help the squad big time.
Nuggets: They are a fighting unit See, when you lose two All-Star Players and one of them is your second offensive option(Jamal) and the other one an elite defender(Porter Jr.), you are going to get hurt and be short-handed. Yes, Jokic has done a terrific job, Barton has been a stabilizer, and Monte Morris is running the point well but the Nuggets bench is thin right now with so many injuries. You can’t plan for so many injuries but the Nuggets team has tried to stay in the game through perseverance and experience.
