UTA vs DAL Dream11: The NBA Playoffs are heading to the second round and the Heat, the Celtics, the Bucks, and the Warriors have already progressed. The 76ers, the Suns, and the Grizzlies are just one win away from qualifying but they are locked in some tricky scenarios. On the other hand, the Dallas Mavericks are a win away and they will visit the Utah Jazz to wrap things up and move to the Western Semis.
In Game 5, the Mavericks took control of the defensive end and beat the Jazz 102:77 in the lowest scoring game of the series. The Mavs saw Doncic drop 33 and ensured that the Jazz don’t get any sort of rhythm on the offensive end. The Mavs are now up three-two and the Jazz has their work cut-out considering they have gone on multiple cold streaks against the elite defense of the Mavs.
Host: Utah Jazz
Visitors: Dallas Mavericks

The Mavs know how to deal with the Jazz.
This has been a series of cold shooting and building a defensive identity has helped the Mavericks to establish control early in the game. The trouble with the Jazz has been the lack of scoring balance but despite that, they are still pretty much in the series. The three-point shooting of the Jazz is completely wayward with their ace Donovan Mitchell struggling rather way too much from beyond the arc.
The Mavericks adjusted in the last game after Doncic returned in Game 4 and the team’s rhythm got a bit broken as Brunson lost his edge a bit. However, this is the best Mavs team now on the court with Doncic running the show. Luka has showered 30 points or more in two games straight and this is a dangerous sign for the Jazz with the season on the line.
The Jazz shot just 10% from three-point line (3/30) and surely, that will not get the job done, overall, they shot 38% or so again, a poor percentage that only made up for 77 points as the team highest scoring quarter was the last one that only brought 22 and the rest of the quarters, the team couldn’t even reach 20 points. Conley is completely out of rhythm while even Bojan Bogdanovic has gone cold at this point.
The Mavs won the rebounding battle 49:40 and they attempted eight more shots than the Jazz. The Mavericks weren’t any more effective from three, but made 12 on just a 28% shooting. The Mavs have outmatched Jazz during multiple games while the Jazz have to eke out close wins, which shows the difference between the two at the moment.
With the return of Luka Doncic, there is no doubt that he is the best fantasy option and his last two games saw him rack up more fantasy points than anyone else. Apart from him, Jalen Brunson has been the second-most dependable option while Dorian Finney-Smith has been a reliable option too. Spencer Dinwiddie’s stocks have fallen as he keeps being inefficient while Kleber has also disappeared after two strong nights, bringing Powell as a more dependable filler option.
Donovan Mitchell remains the hot pick from the Jazz but he had a terrible Game 5, cut short due to an injury. Mike Conley has completely fallen off the radar and Jordan Clarkson looks like a way better option at this point. Bojan Bogdanovic’s stocks have fallen in the last two games but I believe he will close out strong. Rudy Gobert has rather emerged as a reliable fantasy pick than most Jazz players.

Sharp-shooting Wing: SF: Bojan Bogdanovic
Ace scorer: SG: Donovan Mitchell
Playmaking Guard: PG: Mike Conley

Mitchell had a terrible shooting night, just clicking on 4/15 shots and on top of that, also picked a quadriceps injury. However, I expect a bounceback if he ends up playing here and he can be in 25-30 points, 4-7 rebounds/assists and 1-2 steals/blocks range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 34-47
Guard Doncic is back and he has continued his stat-stuffing ways, shooting 11/22 in the last game while clamping a bunch of rebounds. I expect a 29-37 points, 5-8 assists, and 9-13 rebounds range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 48-66
Gobert continues to provide his best defensive game while also nabbing a bunch of rebounds and giving inside offense. I expect a 14-20 points, 10-15 rebounds, and 1-3 blocks range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 26-40
Guard Brunson has continued to torment the Jazz and shot 9/20 in the last game, once again forming a strong scoring tandem with Doncic. I believe he will be in 19-25 points and 3-6 assists range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 32-42
Guard Clarkson shot 9/15 in the last game and he has done a great job in the series, being the only reliable offensive option at times. I believe he will be in 17-23 points and 3-5 assists range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 25-44
Big Forward Dorian continues to be an incredible defender and he has also done a more than decent job of boxing-out and pulling up boards while supplying decent scoring. I believe he will be in 11-16 points, 5-7 rebounds, and 2-4 assists range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 22-33
