Is Prithvi, the cricketing prodigy next Sachin Tendulkar? It is a new question that has yet again started hogging headlines after commentator Ian Bishop compared his strokeplay with Master Blaster.
As the U-19 captain Prithvi Shaw continues to make waves in the cricketing world, former West Indies fast bowler Ian Bishop couldn't help gushing over his suave batting skills. Commenting to a Shaw drive off the front foot, Bishop said the shot from the 18-year-old reminded him of the great Sachin Tendulkar. “That is Tendulkar!” the 50-year-old said.
Prithvi Shaw has already engraved his name in India's domestic circuit after his outstanding performance for Mumbai. The batting whizz, Prithvi played a brilliant innings scoring 94 as India put 328 runs on board.
