Sanjeev Rajput Shooter Sanjeev Rajput is an Indian shooter from Haryana who has secured a quota for 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Born on 05 January 1981 in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, Sanjeev is an Arjuna Awardee and worked for Indian Navy. Rajput quit his Navy job before Rio Olympics and started training on his own with his own savings. However, the veteran rifle shooter was left out of the Indian shooting squad of the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Rajput has made a strong comeback to the Indian shooting squad after winning India’s quota place in the 50m Rifle 3 position in September 2019 during the ISSF World Cup in Rio de Janerio.
