Aditi Jaitly is the wife of former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja. She was born in Delhi and her mother – Jaya Jaitly is a well-known politician. Jaya Jaitly is former Samata Party president, author, an activist and Indian handicrafts curator. Her father Ashok Jaitly was a former chief secretary of Jammu and Kashmir.

Born to a royal Rajput family of Jamnagar, Ajay Jadeja was quite a colourful personality during his playing days for India. His name was linked with various film actresses and his affair with Madhuri Dixit was making headlines all over the town. Ajay Jadeja left cricket due to a ban with regards to match-fixing allegations in 2000.

Ajay Jadeja and Aditi Jaitly were in touch ever since their schooling days at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in New Delhi. After that Ajay went on to become an international cricketer while Aditi became a Bharatanatyam artist. Notably, Aditi Jaitly was trained under famous dancer Leela Samson.

Ajay Jadeja and Aditi Jaitly came close to each other from the year 1999 and they got the nod from both families. During that time, Aditi also started working for Ajay’s firm, Jadeja Communication. Their marriage was supposed to be a high-profile event but it was postponed a couple of times mainly due to Operation West End. At the end, they tied the knot in March 2001 in the presence of close friends and family. They are now parents to two children – Aiman & Ameera.
