A hard-hitting right-handed batsman, Chris Lynn was born in Brisbane and is known for hitting maximums. One of the finest batsmen in Australian domestic circuit, Lynn made his Twenty20 international debut against England in Hobart on 29 January 2014.  He blasted 33 off just 19 balls which included 3 maximums.

Lynn holds the record for hitting most of number of maximums in BBL history, i.e. 94 sixes. He has some astonishing stats in Big Bash League and IPL. In  IPL  2017, Lynn and Sunil Narine made a record 106-run opening partnership of just 36 balls.

Lynn made his ODI debut against Pakistan in 2017, 4 years after being featured in T20I cricket. He still awaits his test call up.

• IN IPL 2014, playing for KKR, he scored 45 off 31 balls and took a brilliant catch near the boundary to dismiss AB de Villiers and turned the game in the final over. He was awarded the man of the match in his first game.
• He scored an unbeaten 250 against Victoria, in the Sheffield Shield on 9 February 2015.
• On 29 December 2015, he scored his first T20 century. Playing for Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League, Lynn hit 101 off 51 deliveries against the Hobart Hurricanes.
• He also has a career-best 19-ball 50 as opener of Kolkata Knight Riders vs Gujarat Lions in IPL 2017 in which he blasted 8 sixes

• In May 2018, Lynn was named amongst the ten marquee players for the first edition of the Global T20 Canada cricket tournament
• In BBL’s 5th edition, Lynn was named the Player of the Tournament. He not only captained Brisbane Heat but also scored 378 runs.

• In 2013, Lynn was fined A$2000 after he enraged and Tweeted against the Brisbane women.

• On his Twenty20 international debut against England in Hobart on 29 January 2014, Lynn made 33 off 19 balls, including three maximums. However, he did not get to bat in his second game.
• In his 44 BBL games so far, Lynn has scored 1412 runs with the strike rate of 157.77. In his 44 outing, he has smashed the most number of sixes in BBL history, 94.
