One of the most talented women all-rounders in the cricketing world, Ellyse Perry was born in Wahroonga, New South Wales, Australia and made her debut for both Australia women’s cricket and Australia’s women football team at the tender age of 16.
Ellyse is the youngest cricketer to represent Australia (both men and women cricket) and the first international sportsperson to represent Australia in both Women Cricket World Cup and Women Football World Cup. She has represented three football clubs in Australia namely, Central Coast Mariners, Canberra United and Sydney FC and at the national front, she has represented Australia Women Football and Australia U-20 Women Football.
After representing Australia in both Cricket and Football she had to make a call and choose one game at the time of London Olympics in 2012, that is when she opted to continue playing Cricket for Australia Women.
