Marcus Stoinis is an ideal utility limited-over cricketer who can bat in top-order batsman and do the job of the fifth bowler. Stoinis got a reckoning after he finished as Victoria’s leading run-scorer in the 2014-15 Sheffield Shield season, getting a maiden International call-up. Until 2017, Stoinis has been in and out of Australia’s national team. Unbeaten 146 against New Zealand on 30 January 2017 at Eden Park established him as a regular member in the National side. Australia were 67 for 6 chasing 287 when Stoinis came to the crease and partnered with No. 11 Josh Hazlewood to take Australia home.
