Ajay Thakur is one of the most well-known names in Kabaddi. Nicknamed as the ‘King of Kabaddi,’ he started competing in the sport professionally from 2007. He is the former captain of the Indian Kabaddi team, and was part of the squads that won that the gold medal at Asian Games 2014 and World Cup in 2016.
He has had a prolific career both for India and in the Pro Kabaddi League. The veteran raider scored the most raid points in India’s World Cup 2016 winning campaign. Ajay finished as the highest points scorer, with 68 points to his name.
