17-year-old Akash Singh is an Indian Cricketer and a left-arm pacer. He made his T20 debut for Rajasthan in the 2019–20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 9 November 2019. He had also represented India under-19 cricket team in the 2019 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup before his T20 debut in September 2019. He played 3 matches in the entire tournament.
He was also selected in the India B cricket team for the U19 Challenger Cup. He got his name registered for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in December 2019. He managed to land a contract in the 2020 IPL Auction where he was bought by Rajasthan Royals for his base price of Rs 20 lakhs. He has consistently been among the wickets for the India U-19 team this year.
Akash’s family always supported his game and never made pressure to quit cricket. His father is a farmer and his mother is a homemaker.
