Andrew Balbirine has been in relationship with Kate Mck, the Irish hockey player. The duo has been dating each other for more than eight years.
In 2019, Balbirnie lead the Ireland’s Under 19 World Cup Qualifier Winning squad as a captain. The victory of the squad opened the gates for U-19 team in the 2010 U-19 Cricket World Cup. However, his performance did not sweep the opponents off the ground. It was only in 2014 that his game transformed into a man’s play.
In 2014, after his degree at Cardiff University Balbirnie was signed to play with Middlesex. Post this point there was no looking back for Andre. He set his best foot forward and scored a winning match for Ireland. This made the blood gush into his veins and he gave an outstanding performance in many other matches.
His journey came to a halt in 2016, due to a hip problem during the T20 World Cup in India. Making it even worse, Middlesex parted ways with him after five seasons and his participation in the game was limited to two first-class games, three List A games and seven T20s for the club.
He made a comeback with a bang and he hit his first-class hundred in International Cup against Netherlands. He even hit his maiden ODI hundred in 2017-18 against UAE and Scotland.
