Colin Munro, a South-Africa born New Zealand international cricketer, is recognised as one of the most destructive batsmen in Twenty 20 cricket. When in flow, Munro hits the cricket ball as long as anyone in the game. After debuting in 2012, Munro has been in and out of Black Caps’ limited-overs teams.

The Kiwi all-rounder has quit Test cricket quoting that his “passion for that format of the game isn’t what it once was.” He made only one appearance for New Zealand in Test, against South Africa in 2013.

Career Turning Point

• 366 runs in the 2015-16 Georgie Pie Super Smash season (at a staggering strike rate of 175) earned Munro a regular spot in New Zealand’s T20 side.

• Colin Munro represented New Zealand in the U19 World Cup in 2006, but did not have a tournament to remember.
