Kuldeep Yadav wanted to be a fast bowler and had Wasim Akram as his idol but later shifted to chinamen bowling on advice of his then coach Kapil Pandey due to his short build up.
With handful of chinaman bowlers in modern cricket, Kuldeep Yadav gathered attention in the 2014 Under-19 World Cup where he ended up being India’s leading wicket taker including a hat-trick against Scotland.
Kuldeep made his international debut on 25 march 2017 against Australia. On September 21 in the same, Kuldeep Yadav became the third Indian bowler to take a hat-trick in ODIs after Kapil Dev and Chetan Sharma.
A regular in T20 and ODIs, Kuldeep Yadav created another record on July 03, 2018 when he took his first 5-fer against England in the first T20I. He also became the first left-arm chinaman to do so in T20Is.
Kuldeep is the third Indian bowler to take a hat-trick in ODI (vs Australia at Eden Gardens)
